Lilac’s P.O.V The look she gave me right then was a mixture of disgust and rage. If looks could kill then I would definitely be ashes on the wind, but unfortunately for her, that didn’t happen. Instead, I saw her lips pull back over her teeth as a low growl escaped her lips. And just as I had expected, she raised her hand to strike me then, her claws sharp and pointed, and they were aimed for my face. She wanted to claw at me, scratch my eyes out probably, but before she could do any of that, I caught her hand mid strike, my grip punishing as I circled her wrist and took a step forward in her direction so that we were standing chest to chest.
