Lilac’s P.O.V
A sudden growl escaped Krimson’s lips, startling us all, and I instinctively moved closer to Liam, just as he moved to shield me.
What surprised me was how he came to my defense in an almost involuntary manner…and it made me feel incredibly special.
"Please gentlemen, let’s all calm down and think this out carefully." Mrs. Addison said, rising to her feet.
Krimson turned away from us to retake his seat, his mood significantly worse than before. And I didn’t want to appear naïve but I think it had something to do with Liam taking my hand.
"Principal Addison, I need you to show us the footage and get this over with already." Krimson spoke in a harsh tone. “Let’s not waste any more time.”
I swallowed past the bundle of nerves in my throat, holding onto Liam’s hand tightly
