Instantly, I was on high alert, my eyes darting around the road to see if someone had spotted me. And then I pulled her aside, taking her to the backyard of my house where no one would see me associating with the likes of her.
“What are you doing here?” I snapped at her, feeling angry by just looking at her face.
"Have you forgotten our plans Liam?” Serena sneered at me, her face set in harsh lines as she pushed at my shoulders, causing me to stumble back. “Look at you grinning like a f*****g i***t after spending the entire day with that lowly rat!" She spat in anger.
