Beneath Her Facade

Chapter 5

Just then, three guys came walking through the hallway and just their way of walking gives you the "Gimme your attention " vibe. When the one in the middle ran his fingers through his hair ,you could hear like all the girl swooning and sighing dreamily.

Suddenly the guy in the middle made eye contact with me and I realised he was Tyson Brooke,the so called king bee of the school.

I looked away and pulled June out of the hall to the outskirts of the school before anything could happen.

"Woah why was that guy looking at you" June suddenly asked. I shrugged "He's been looking at me in class like we know each other...and he seems awfully familiar to me but i just can't get how. Don't you also find him familiar"

"Huh well no...or maybe I've forgotten " She stated as we headed towards a bench and sat down.

"You know I still feel bad for leaving April for Ms.Plastina"

"Huh..wait who's Ms.Plastina" June raised her eyebrows in surprise

"Isn't it Tina your favourite Barbie doll" I smirked

"Eww puh-lease I'd even prefer Chucky to her" She fake gagged while I laughed"

"What's funny"

"You...you ...did ..you...s..see ..your face" I said in between laughter and June just smiled shaking her head "You're crazy". Then I saw a figure sitting behind a tree. I squinted my eyes to have a better look.

He must have heard me laughing cause he suddenly turned his head towards our direction and he looked surprised for a second before he covered it up with a blank face.

That's when I realised it was Tyson but I thought I saw him in the hallway and why he look tanner than i saw earlier,I thought.

I blinked and just like that he wasn't there. Huh ..What??...Am I hallucinating?? He was just there..i looked at June but she was looking elsewhere.."Why are you looking at me like that" She turned to ask

"Did you see the guy behind the tree?"

"No which guy"

"I don't know but he looked like Tyson "

"Who's Tyson" She raised her eyebrows in a teasing manner

"You know the guy who was staring at me in the hall way"

"Oh yeah but he can't just appear behind a tree...May be you're just imagining things"

"But i was sure i saw him...I'm not that crazy"I mumbled

"Oh please you're like the craziest kid to ever live on Earth. Sometimes I wonder how we became sisters. Remember that day when ...."

I covered my ears and groaned " Ah please don't remind me June...you guys are so annoying that it's not fair"

She started laughing hysterically and if I was white I'm sure my face would have turned as red as cherries from such embarrassment. The thing too is June's laughter is really contagious I even ended up laughing myself. She sounds like a hyena and monkey combined with some weird snorts.

I mean just imagine..Hmph

"Oh May May May.. I may die from laughter today." She grinned and I wanted to say "Hey that rhymed" but I was too embarrassed so I just glared at her.

"Aw love you too May sissy" She drawled and I just rolled my eyes at her
