Chapter 9

They finally left after realising I wasn't going to open the door . I was now done with my drawing so I lay down facing the ceiling and thinking about all that happened today. My mind then drifted off to Taylor...oh Taylor..

His mesmerising hazel eyes....

They look like a sunflower ...

His heartwarming addictive smile...

It could melt you with it's amazing power...

I sighed and turned. I doubt he'll ever like someone like me. I mean who would want a plain,tall, annoying girl like me...Guys normally prefer short girls...*sigh* Luck is never on my side. And now Tina's gonna change my April...no scratch that she's already changing her ..just on the first day. Life sucks...for real.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing and I groaned. Fudge why do we even have to go to school? I just hope the day passes by faster than yesterday. I got up and did my morning routine and got ready for school. I ignored all April's and June's attempts to speak to me on our drive to school. It's my turn to drive today so I blocked all April and June's talking and focused and the road.

By now we were already at school walking to down the hallways to our lockers...well I walked ahead of my sisters so i don't know where they're walking to since we're kinda early. It's 7:14am by the time I was picking my books for the day and my random sketchbook.

Luckily I have my first period alone today so I don't have to worry about any disturbances. I sat down and placed my stuff on my desk then picked my sketchbook and began drawing random sketches cause unlike others who like writing in a diary or journal when they're alone ,I prefer images to texts so sketchbooks it is.

So far I've been drawing for bout 40minutes or more .I drew a teddy bear using the number 6..then added a bit of designs to the background. Okay so now I'm just going to go put my Maths notes down and go through before the class starts..I wondered to myself

After about 5mins the class was already almost full and just as the bell rang the teacher stepped in . I inwardly sighed thankfully cause no one sat beside me "Hopefully the day goes fast" I muttered to myself.

Just then the door opened and in came Taylor. sh*t sh*t why does the seat by me have to be the only empty space. He looked around and nodded at the teacher before walking towards my direction. "Just great" I murmured silently.

Taylor looked at me before facing forward .

"Okay so as you can see today's topic is polynomial function and we'll be dealing with SOH-CAH-TOA. By now I expect you all to know what each abbreviation means. So we're just going through. " The teacher stated as the whole class groaned well except for me i think."Save your groans..I'm teaching humans not hyenas. But I'll remind you only this once..after that you stick it in your brains..understand??"

"Yes Ms. Raines "

" Dito... so SOH means sine is equal to the ratio of the length of the opposite side of the triangle to the length of the hypoteneuse, CAH means cosine is equal to the ratio of the adjacent side to the length of the hypoteneuse and finally TOA means tangent is equal to the length of the opposite to the length of the side adjacent. Do you all get it now?"

"Yes" everyone remarked.

"Great now let's get on with a few examples"....

Classes went by in a blur and surprisingly it was now closing. I ignored my sisters at lunch and weirdly but thankfully enough Taylor did not talk to me too. I've never really seen him hanging out with his friends like his brother does considering he's also well-known. The glares he gives people especially girls who try to flirt with him makes me wonder why he spoke so friendly to me in P.E.

I got home and headed straight for my room after greeting my mom. After changing I grabbed my phone and logged into my i********: and liked all the recent posts and scrolled through my Explore page only to find a recent post of April and some other two girls with Tina under the caption Friends to the Queen. Tina stood in the middle smiling smugly with April and the others on each sides of her smiling to the camera.

I rolled my eyes and sighed then switched the phone off and began some studying for the day before mom called me downstairs for dinner.
