My family decided to have an extended stay here at the castle. We were told it would be weeks before the Family heads would be chosen. With that said my family didn't want to leave and see what happens after I had been kidnapped and almost killed. My mother had our horses brought down to us too so that we could ride some of the stress away. I love how my mother can know exactly what I need. Riding the jungles was intense. I didn't realize how much I missed Skai. She had been with me since I was young. The wind between her ears is the stuff of magic. It brought me back to life.
"Your Highness, we have messages that they have picked new family heads." One of the servants approached the stables while I was humming to Skai.
