Holy hell, today was the wedding. Jewel's mother Maya and Linzi both were attached at the hip to her from yesterday today. We were not gonna let a kidnapping happen like last time. So one of the family had eyes on her the whole time.
"How are you doing?" I heard Mortou's voice behind me. Damn if I hadn't forgotten the old man was with me.
"Just wondering how today will go after last time." I turn to look at him. He straightens my tie and plAces the flower on my label.
"This time things should go right." The serious face of the big old bear who had been with Jewel and her brother was gone as he grinned and added a wink for go measure.
