On a sunny day, Erin arrived at the werewolf tribe.
She was stunned by the sight before her. The tribe was surrounded by a dense forest, and the ancient building exuded a mysterious aura. The building seemed to be one with nature, harmonious and serene.
"This is your tribe?" Erin asked curiously, a hint of awe in her voice.
Lucas smiled and nodded, pride in his eyes. "Yes, this is our home."
Just as they entered the tribe, many curious eyes turned to them. Children surrounded them, running around happily with innocent smiles on their faces.
"The chief is back!" Someone shouted, their voice filled with joy and respect.
Lucas introduced Erin to the group, "This is Erin, she will be part of our tribe from now on."
Erin smiled and gestured to everyone a little nervously, her heart was beating fast and she wondered if she would be accepted by the people here.
At that moment, an older woman approached. Her face was etched with age, but her eyes were full of kindness. She held Ayrin's hand and gently said, "Child, don't be afraid, this is your home."
Irene felt the woman's kindness, and the tension in her heart eased slightly.
At night, Lucas brought Erin to a cozy cottage. Flowers were planted in front of the hut, giving off a faint aroma.
"This is prepared for you, from now on you will live here," Lucas said as he pushed open the door to the room, which was cozily decorated with a soft bed and a warm fire.
Erin walked into the cottage with a look of emotion in her eyes. "Thank you, Lucas."
Lucas looked at her with a smile, "Rest well, tomorrow will be a new beginning." With that, he gently closed the door, leaving Erin alone in the cozy cottage.
Erin lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling, her mind racing with thoughts. She didn't know what the future held, but she knew that with Lucas by her side, she was willing to face it bravely.
The night grew deeper and deeper, and Erin drifted off to sleep in exhaustion. Outside the house, Lucas stood in the moonlight, guarding her as if he were guarding the most precious treasure in the world.
Early in the morning, the sunlight poured through the dappled foliage onto the trails of the werewolf tribe. Lucas arrived early to Erin's hut and knocked gently on the door.
"Erin, are you ready? I'll show you a good familiarisation with our tribe today." Lucas' voice was filled with anticipation.
Erin opened the door and nodded with a fresh smile on her face.
They walked side by side through each of the tribe's trails, Lucas patiently introducing Erin to everything along the way. As they passed a large, ancient tree, Lucas stopped in his tracks, a look of awe in his eyes.
"Erin, look at this big tree, it has witnessed countless years of the tribe." Lucas stroked the deep engravings on the trunk of the tree and said slowly, "These engravings were left by the tribe's ancestors, and each of them has a special meaning."
Erin's eyes widened with curiosity as she approached the tree trunk, her slender fingers gently touching the engravings as if she were in dialogue with the past.
"Lucas, what kind of story is behind these engravings?" Erin raised her head, her eyes full of searching.
Lucas smiled faintly, falling into a memory. "This engraving is in honor of a valiant warrior who gave up his life to defend our homeland in a battle against a rival tribe. And then there's this one, which celebrates a good harvest, the year when the tribe's crops received an unprecedentedly good harvest."
Erin listened intently, admiration shining in her eyes. "It's amazing how these engravings carry so much history."
Lucas gently patted Erin's shoulder. "Our tribe may be small, but every corner is full of stories."
In the square of the tribe, a group of children were running and frolicking happily. Lucas smiled as he looked at them, his eyes full of love.
"Erin, look, these children are the future of the tribe. Their laughter is the most melodious sound of the tribe." Lucas said with emotion.
Irene was infected by the innocence of the children, and a warm smile bloomed on her face. "They look so carefree, it's enviable."
Lucas' grip on Erin's hand tightened slightly. "In the tribe, children always bring the purest joy. No matter how many difficulties there are in life, seeing them puts all worries behind them for a while."
As they strolled by a small stream, Ayrin suddenly stopped and gazed at the swimming fish in the water. The clear water of the stream reflected her beautiful face, and surprise shone in her eyes.
Lucas noticed her gaze and asked softly, "What's wrong, Erin?"
Erin turned her head, a sparkle in her eyes and joy in her voice. "Lucas, it's so beautiful here, it makes me feel so peaceful. The fish in the water are free, as if they have no worries."
Lucas gently took her hand and felt the warmth in her palm. "We can come here as often as you like. I hope to bring you many more peaceful and beautiful moments like this."
Erin's face flushed and she nodded slightly. "Well, I feel at ease with you."
The breeze ruffled their hair, as if time stood still in the moment.
