Anahi was in the car with Isabelle, who was currently fuming about Sebastian.
"The nerve of that that blockhead!" she yelled.
"What did he do?" asked Anahi.
She snorted. "He existed!"
"Isabelle, can I ask you something?"
"Ask away."
"Do you and Sebastian know each other?"
Isabelle nodded.
"Sebastian has been annoying me since primary school. I really can't stand the boy! You know, in primary school he would make fun of me and-"
Anahi smiled as Isabelle rambled on and on about why she loathed Sebastian.
She had a feeling that Sebastian may have feelings for Isabelle. The way he stared at her, it was same way Mr. Dante stared at her.
Oh, so you're acknowledging your feelings for Mr. Dante?
She blushed. It seemed like just the other day she hadn't felt like that about anyone. Yet, this Spanish man who bought her was making her feel things she'd never thought she'd feel. She hadn't even figured the man out yet it felt like they'd known each other forever.
It was amazing how a simple thought about something turned into a thought of him and how that one thought would have her heart beating so fast she thought she'd collapse.
Throughout the shopping and Isabelle's rambling, her mind was on one person:
Mr. Dante.
His eyes, green and hypnotising. She was sure it was those eyes that bewitched her.
His smile, how it was able to turn her sadness into happiness.
His behaviour, it made her want to stay by his side for all eternity.
She was sure she was going crazy, but even crazier was that she wanted to be this way.
"Earth to Ana." said Isabelle, waving her hand in Anahi's face.
Anahi stared at her. "Yes?"
"We're home."
She looked around and sure enough, they were at Nublas Mansion.
Leo came out and opened the door for the two ladies and proceeded to take the bags inside, knowing that it would take him long steps to do so.
"Thank you Leo." whispered Anahi as he grabbed the first two bags from the boutique.
Leo turned around to face her, the bags in hand. In his twenty years of service, nobody had ever thanked him.
Yet here was this girl, who showed him this amount of kindness with just two words.
He bowed. "God bless you child."
As he went upstairs, Anahi couldn't help but feel happy.
"Let's go inside." said Isabelle.
Just then, the doors burst open and out came Dante, his hand gripping a woman's arm tightly. She appeared to be the chef, dressed in her white apron and hat, but it was smeared with chocolate.
Anahi was shocked at the anger on his face and it scared her too.
What happened to him?
He hurled the woman out of the mansion. Isabelle was about to go and stop him but Anahi held him back.
"No Isabelle, I want to see for myself."
