Chapter 24: Alone Time

455 Words
It got really late and Cielo went to bed, to get her "beauty sleep". She had auditions for a TV show and she wasn't going to lose the spot she so desired. Isabelle went to bed as well, leaving Anahi and Dante alone. "It's late, I should go to bed." she said. She was about to get up when Dante pulled her to him. "Stay up a bit beautiful." he said, his words heavily accented. "I can't." she said. He sighed. "I'll do anything you ask me to, just don't go to bed just yet." She smiled. "Anything?" He nodded, becoming scared of the smile on her face. ***************** "Seriously? You want me to make pizza for you?" he asked, looking at his phone, baffled at her request. He'd been expecting her to make him paint her nails or sing , but make pizza? He was Dante Nublas, not Betty Crocker. "I'm not doing this." he said, pointing to the ingredients that Anahi set out. "Fine," she said, turning away, "I'm going in my bed." He held her hand. "You're so wrong for this. I could order the pizza." "No! That's two strikes now." she said, crossing her arms. "Strikes?" "Yes. When you said you were not doing it, strike one. Then you offered to order the pizza, strike two. Which means that you have to do two more things for me." "You're evil." he said. "I've heard worse." she answered, putting the chef hat on his head. "If it tastes like crap, don't murder me. I'm not husband material in that aspect." "Oh I know." she muttered "Oh you do? Well, that's good, I could give you a trailer of the things that would make a woman never want to divorce my cute ass." he said, twerking in front of her. She blushed and tried to run but he made her sit. "Sit down." he said, laughing at her innocence. "Don't laugh at me." she said, pouting. He chuckled before kissing her on the lips. "Sorry beautiful, I forget you're easily offended." "Pizza." she said, pointing to the ingredients. He groaned, turning to the ingredients. And so it began. ********************** "You really can't cook." she said, dumping the "pizza" Dante shrugged, picking up his phone to text the pizza place for a late delivery. "I told you, I'm not husband material in that aspect." "I feel sorry for your wife." she said to herself. "I feel sorry for her too," he said, "how will she ever handle all of this?" he said, removing his shirt and grinding on the floor. Anahi gasped and closed her eyes. She never saw a guy shirtless, not even the village men, she always made sure to look away.
