She decided to go and meet her relatives and friends to see if she would get help from them, but all her efforts were futile. They were all telling the same story, they had no money to give her.
She was still wandering about the streets of California hopelessly when she heard her phone ring.
"Hello, she said tiredly as she picked up the call.
"Hello, this is Doctor Mark from City Hospital. I am calling to let you know that your brother's condition has worsened and, as we speak, we don't have much time left. We need to carry out the transplant with immediate effect, so you are expected to come to the hospital and make a deposit tomorrow so that we can commence the surgery with immediate effect," the doctor said to her.
"Oh goodness!, what do I do now? she asked herself with tears, running down her cheeks.
"I have no other option than to do what Eva suggested," she said to herself, picked up her phone, and dialed Eva's number.
"Hello, Marie, have you changed your mind," Eva asked her immediately after she picked up the call.
"Yes Eva, I am ready to do it," Marie answered over the phone.

Marie looked at herself in the mirror and could not help the tears that streamed ceaselessly from her eyes. She never believed that a day would come when she would sell her body for money.

She was in one of the rooms in Riley's brothel dressed in a revealing outfit that exposed all her cleavages. Her boobs were almost popping out of the dress and her thighs were barely covered. Many negative thoughts kept running through her mind. She was so scared, there were many what-ifs.
What if he is a violent man? What if he just kills her or harms them?
These and many more were the fearful thoughts that were coming to her mind as she waited for the unknown man to arrive.
After a long time of waiting, the door of the room opened and her eyes turned sharply towards the door, thinking it was the customer that would have her but it happened to be a worker in Riley's brothel. The lady came to inform her about the arrival of her customer.
"The driver is here," the lady said to her.
"What driver? Marie asked with confusion written all over her face.
"The driver that will take you to the house of your customer," the lady replied.
What!! Would I be going to his house? she asked the lady, surprised.
"Yes, the lady simply answered.
"Please follow me," the lady said to her.
Marie stood and followed the lady out of the room. She was feeling uneasy as she was stepping out because of the many stares she was getting from men. She tried to adjust her skimpy dress so that it could cover her body, but it was in vain.
The lady led her outside where she saw a vehicle already waiting for her. She slowly entered the vehicle and without any word from the driver he zoomed off.
After a while, they got to a large gate which opened automatically. He drove into the compound and the driver opened the door. she couldn't help but stare at the compound. It was so large and beautiful with a fountain in the middle of the compound and beautiful flowers planted on every side. She was still admiring the environment when a young man came and interrupted her.
"You must be Marie," he said to her, and she nodded in affirmation.
"Please follow me," he said to her and led the way.
She followed him inside the house like a sheep being led to its slaughter. She entered into the magnificent mansion and a wow escaped from her mouth unknowingly. The interior of the building was so beautiful, it could be described as paradise. She stared at everything inside the house, from the blue-colored couch to the beautiful chandelier hanging on the ceiling and the exquisite glass center table then the large plasma television that resembled the ones that are used in cinemas.
"Please come with me" the guy from earlier said to her. She followed him and he led her to a room. The boss will be with you shortly, he said to her and left the room, leaving her in her thoughts.
"Am I doing this? she asked herself with tears coming out of her eyes.
"I am doing this for my brother. It is just going to be once" she assured herself, wiping her tears.
She waited for the unknown guy but it was as if

She woke up from her short nap and looked around but there was no indication of the said man. She became very agitated. She carried her phone and called Eva's phone number.
"Hello Eva I can't continue with this, I have a bad feeling about this," she said to her immediately after she picked up the call.
"You are joking, right? I hope you are not trying to back out. Eva asked her with anger evident in her voice.
"How can you even think of such a thing? What about your brother? Would you be happy to watch him die and Riley, the lady that arranged the customer? What do you want her to tell him? Eva asked her.
"It is just that...... Marie was about to say when Eva cut her shut.
"It is nothing, just complete what you started, and don't get things complicated. Said Eva.

When the door opened, she looked towards the door and was astonished at who she saw.
