  Roseline’s POV   My mind was in chaos as I hurriedly got in to a cab.   Soon, I stood at Isaac’s family home— the place where I ‘ve spent most of my childhood between ages six and eighteen.   It now meant nothing to me—even the people inside meant nothing.   My eyes landed at once on Isaac and Ann. Their shocked faces betrayed them.   I bet they were wondering what I was doing in the mansion –a rejected woman had no business returning to the home of her ex-fiancée.   Alice wasn’t left behind.
