On our way back to the hospital, I felt really nervous. Yes…Brian was awake but I was still worried in which condition, I’d find him in. Until I saw him, I didn’t want to assume things.
Fiddling silently with my hands, Adrian noticed it. He took my hands into his and held them steady “Do you trust me?”
“Of course ….” I replied.
“He’s fine “ he rubbed my hands as he added “ My assistant is keeping an eye on him and he has confirmed that Brian is out of danger . You need to relax. “
“Thank you “I mumbled gratefully as I heaved a sigh of relief “I don’t know how I’m ever going to repay you for your trouble.”
“Just repay me by taking good care of Roman. That’s all that I need for now “
