Ariah
Within the bag held dark purple slacks with a pink and dark purple blouse. The heels were a beautiful pink that matched perfectly. I let out a breath of air and hugged my mom, thanking her for not having me wear a dress. The only time I see myself wearing a dress is when I find my mate and get married.
She ushers me back to my seat in front of my mirror and starts curling my hair. Once that was finished and I had flex rods holding the curls up, my mom started on my makeup (Remember I said she was a jack of all trades.. MOA was one of them). She applied light makeup, giving me a natural look, but did wonders with my eyes, bringing my eye color out more than usual. I was in awe of my reflection.
As soon as I was dressed it was like Nesha was right on time, she barged into my room with the cutest dress on hugging her curves. “OMG you’re so freaking cute!” was all she squealed when she saw me. “Guests are starting to arrive, I think it’s time for you to make it towards downstairs and entertain them. Plus, your mom told me to come up here and get you, and said something about you having enough time.” I just signed and walked towards the door to head downstairs, but before I closed my door I did a once over admiring what I looked like and just smiled. My mom and dad for sure made a beauty, I can admit.

We partied all night until almost about ten or eleven. That’s when everyone bid goodbye and left. I was a little nervous now that it was close to midnight, I had sweaty palms and my heart was pounding like it was about to jump out of my chest. Dad sent me to the house to put on something ‘more comfortable’ . I think it was something more easy and quick to put on or take off. I threw on some jogging pants and a crop top and slowly walked outside to meet up with my parents. I got excited and my nerves were forgotten when I saw my mom hold her part of our deal. Grandma Izzy was standing between two guards smiling at me. I ran to her and hugged her and turned to give my mom a hug as well. After my constant thank yous to her, my dad montioned me to walk right under the moon. The light shined down on me and something within me stirred. I took a deep breath, soaking up the moonlight. Within seconds I felt it, I crunched over in pain groaning next thing I know I fell on my hands and knees and felt a burning sensation as my bones started to crack and reattach. I closed my eyes and threw my head back and tried to hold my scream in but it escaped my mouth and turned into a howl. When I opened my eyes, everyone’s eyes were wide in surprise, I thought something was wrong with me, but Nanami reassured me that everything was ok, the shock in everyone’s face was not disappointment but surprise.
My dad was the first one to walk over to me and run his hand down my fur, telling me I was beautiful. Nanami sat down on her hind legs and started wagging her tail. “What do we look like, I wanna see”, I told her. She got up and walked over to the koi pond my mom had on our land and looked down. I got teary eyed and couldn’t be in anything but awe. I was a red wolf with a white underbelly, from my jaws and mussel to the tip of my tail, it was pure white and my eyes. How did I miss those when I looked at our reflection? My eyes are the brightest green I’ve ever seen. The wind blows and I am torn out of my awe and sniffs the air. The smell of sandalwood & cardamom oil hit my nostrils and I turned to see my dad’s wolf Blake walking over to me. He told me on my first shift he would run with me, and that’s exactly what he did. When he saw he had caught my attention, he took off running into the wooded land behind us. He was fast and I had to remember he was of alpha blood, but I caught up to him pretty quickly and we ran side by side and howled to the moon.
The night was really fun. After running with my dad and entering the backyard, we shifted back to our human form. We started talking and Grandma Izzy mentioned my eye color and how rare green eyes were for a wolf. “Most wolves have yellow, orange, hazel, brown or blue eyes, but yours is green. Let’s not forget your coat. It’s not a normal wolf’s coat. I knew you were cursed!” she stammered. My mom looked at her with a questionable face and asked her what it was that she was trying to say. They started bickering back and forth, things got heated, something was said in terms of whether I should’ve been exterminated and my mom’s fangs started to extend. I started panicking and Nanami took control, making my aura slip from me with a growl and everyone stiffened and bared their necks to me. Giving myself back control, I shyly smiled “What’s a family event without a little family drama?” I chuckled and bolted towards the back door.
Mi’A
I almost lost control and ripped that hag’s head off, something I should’ve done when she had me kidnapped. If it wasn’t for Ariah I would’ve, but what Ariah did was impossible yet impressive. I have never submitted to anyone and I’m sure everyone here will agree. None of us have ever submitted, we were all of powerful blood. I could tell Nanami took control of Ariah when I looked over and saw her eyes were green when I heard a furious growl. That was just the start. When she released that growl, everyone stiffened and looked her way and I could tell everyone was having a hard time breathing when I felt her aura rolling off of her and was forced to bare my neck, as was everyone else. She mumbled, saying it’s not a family even without drama, and took off running. Me and Isiah looked at each other and with my speed I cut her off and when I looked back I saw Isiah was standing in front of the door.
I could tell she was scared and nervous. I smelled it on her. Instead of asking questions, I just hugged her and walked her into the house. When we entered the house, she said she was tired and went up to her room. I’m sure it was a lot for her. Shock and surprise, she’ll be back to her usual self tomorrow.
