Chapter 2: An Unexpected Encounter Nneoma couldn't shake off the feeling that lingered long after their eyes met. She tried to focus on her studies, but her mind kept wandering back to the stranger. Days turned into weeks, and Nneoma had almost forgotten about the encounter. That was until she stumbled upon the stranger again at a local bookstore. This time, they collided – literally. Nneoma apologized profusely as they both bent to pick up the scattered books. Their hands touched, and Nneoma felt that same spark of electricity. "I'm so sorry," Nneoma said, looking up to meet the stranger's gaze. "No need to apologize," he replied with a warm smile. "I'm just glad I got to see you again." Nneoma's heart skipped a beat. "See me again?" she repeated. The stranger chuckled. "I'm Obinna, by the way. And you are...?" Nneoma's cheeks flushed as she introduced herself. As they stood up, Obinna handed her a book. "I think this belongs to you," he said. Nneoma took the book, their fingers touching once more. "Thanks," she said softly. As they parted ways, Nneoma couldn't help but wonder if this chance encounter would lead to something more. Obinna, too, couldn't shake off the feeling that he had just met someone special. He watched Nneoma walk away, feeling an inexplicable connection to her. As he turned to leave, he noticed a piece of paper on the floor. He picked it up, realizing it was Nneoma's shopping list. A smile spread across his face as he tucked the paper into his pocket. "Looks like fate wants us to meet again," he whispered to himself. Little did Nneoma and Obinna know, their lives were about to intersect in ways they never could have imagined.
