Xander The sun streamed in through the large arch windows of Alexa’s villa creating a warm, welcoming feel to it. It was a cozy place; no wonder she’d come here when she needed to get away from her family. The sights and feels of the villa would cure anyone’s headache. I carried her bag as she unlocked the door, nudging it open with her shoulder. I followed her inside, careful not to brush too close. She moved quickly, yet with a slight jerkiness to her movements betraying her nerves, and I couldn't help my eyebrow that lifted in amused curiosity at what she must be hiding.
