Software development was a passion I had discovered years ago through a career fair back when I was in high school and ever since I learnt about it, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. Joining the Navy was always meant to be a short term thing yet here I was, over a decade later trying to unravel the ropes of a messy past. I spent the day getting used to the job again. It took a while, familiarising myself with all of the new tech and coding languages but before long, I was whiz at it, my hands flying across the keys as I attacked each task with vigour and new found excitement.
