As soon as we got back into the penthouse, I was taken to my room, and all I did was to lay on bed, my mind drifting towards Xander. The day was slowly going bye, and soon, the sky slowly started to darken.
My heart drummed like never before, I felt so uneasy. Sleep was far from my eyes, and when I couldn't hold back the work anymore, I decided to cry since it was the only thing I could do at this point.
"Why does my life have to be this way? Why does things seem to be so off?" I was trying my best to understand what was happening, but even I couldn't answer the question. Couldn't I ever be happy?
