Anika's pov
I wasn't so happy about his decision. He wanted to send me home, but I refused, but the story only got more interesting. It seems like it Sam was gone, and gone for good.
"Yes, finally. He's going to be all mine, all mine!" I conceived the thought in my hearts trying my best not to smile because I knew smiling would only make it look like I was the bad person.
I kept a serious face listening to their conversation. I wanted to know more about what exactly happened.
"So you're saying she's on her way to Colorado now? Can't we go after them?" Xander asked, but Micheal shook his head.
"It's late already. I will try my best to do what I can, but I'll keep you updated. For now, all I want is simple. I need you to understand that we'll keep doing our best. Do you understand?"
