Episode 8 - Familiarization

            After coming back to my room, I was lost in my thoughts. It’s weird and unbelievable family. I was surprised to think there are people exist in this world with weird requirements. I have read these sort of stories in books and I never thought, I will have to face this kind of situation. While I was walking back to room, Olga informed me that I don’t have to go to office today and I can spend the day to familiarize to home environment. Madam Hansan is not well today so she will not come here today.  It’s sad that Madam Hansan (Grandmother) is not well but I felt relief inside my mind. It was bit too much face all changes suddenly. I was really missing my mother.

              In the afternoon, Olga took me around home and it was a huge house. House was built mix of modern and ancient style. Some areas are fully equipped with modern interiors and some areas designed in ancient pattern. Out of all the places, I like reading room. It’s more like a school library than a reading room. It was connected to Master Hansans’ office room. I felt happy for a moment to able to live comfortable house but again it reminds and felt bad that my mother is alone at our old house. After home familiarization tour, Olga arranged lunch for me and we talked while eating. In this I got to know that Master Hansan & Mr. Michael was brought up by their grandmother as their parents were died in plane crash. Apart from grandmother, their Uncle Harry Hansan who is younger brother of their father and he has been looked after them and guided towards business.

              After lunch, I came back my room and I felt alone but I didn’t know what time my eyes got closed. When I woke up then I got frizzed. Master Hansan was seated on sofa with his straight look. I got up at once and stood in front of him like a student whose waiting for Teachers’ punishment. I couldn’t look at his face so I looked down.

“Is there anything on ground?” Master Hansan asked sarcastically.

I didn’t know what to say. I nod my face to show as nothing and slowly looked at him.

“I hope Michael was clear enough about your responsibility. Do you have anything to ask?” Master Hanson again threw question at me.

“ Yes, it’s clear Sir, I don’t have anything for now.” I answered.

“ Only one thing I want to make it clear. You better speak bit louder.” He stood while saying it and walked towards me.

I felt nervous and my heart beat increased. I think it got increased further in every step he took towards me. He stop keeping very small distance between us. His eyes were locked with my eyes and he spent few seconds looking at me straight.

After a while he called me in smooth voice, I couldn’t believe whether he is talking or someone else. His voice was so kind.

“Tania… I am sorry that I have to put you through this situation but we signed a contract and as promised I will do necessary arrangements for your mothers’ health recovery.  It is important you to act as we are close to each other in front of my grandmother.

And I am sorry for yesterday office incident. You must be freaked out. I will try my best to not to act too violent. I will see you in dinner…” He didn’t wait for my answer. As soon as he finish the line, he turn back and wait.

I stood like a statue and waited few minutes to figure out what happened and what he meant by that he will try not to act too violent.

Our dinner was very silence and another day was ended. Master Hansan informed me that next day onward I can go to office with Richard as he will be my driver from now onward.
