"I"m not flirting. I"m just extra nice to someone who is extra attractive."

CHAPTER FIVE: In which she attempts to do this thing called flirting
Deep breath Liliana, right now you are Lila Shaw, the unstoppable queen who slays because she"s just that good. Not the meek Ice Princess who can"t look into a guy"s eyes without panicking.
Go forth and flirt woman.
I straightened my back, hand on my hip, and sashayed to where he was. I knew all eyes were on me... except him. How? Blind? Gay? Eunuch?
I pretend to drop my wallet near him as I bumped into him.
Clearing my throat, "Excuse me, I happened to drop my wallet. Didn"t mean to bump into you." I gave him a 200-megawatt smile which would"ve had any other guy blushing like an i***t. Except him. He only nodded as he bent down, giving me a view of that booty, and picked up my wallet.
"Here you go. Be careful next time," he said as though he was scolding a six year old. He started walking away.
I furrowed my brows, confused. "That"s all?" He stopped and turned around. "What do you mean?"
I fluttered my eyes, "I believe it"s fate for us to have met here, so let"s meet for a cup of coffee or something,"
He looked at me as though I escaped an asylum, "Excuse me?"
I glared at him, "You heard me. I"m asking you out. Simple and clear."
He gave me a blank look, but suddenly he threw his head back and laughed as though he escaped a mental asylum.
I huffed, "What"s so funny?"
"Everything. Starting from the fact that your so-called fate is purposely dropping your wallet near me, or purposely bumped into, and now, you so boldly ask me on a date. As though it"s a responsibility. Ridiculous. I have no time for this." He started walking away again leaving me burning in embarrassment. This asshole, even if it wasn"t fate, you could"ve gone with the flow instead of embarrassing me like what the hell? Fine, if you want to play the shame game, I have no problem.
"Stop right there." He turned around as I gave him a haughty look. You mere peasant dare anger and embarrass a queen?
He sighed, "What is it now?"
I gave him a sweet smile, "What is wrong with you? A gorgeous woman such as I is willing to give you her attention, and this is how you act? Is this all a ploy to that you"re playing hard to get? You"re gay? Small d**k? Not manly enou-" before I could finish what I was saying, he covered my mouth with his hand. Ew. In movies, that"s considered hot, but in reality, you"re too busy wondering where his hand has been. Nasty with a capital "N".
I slapped his hand away, and stared at his face. He was blushing! How cute and innocent, indeed. Finally a reaction, although not the one I was anticipating.
He sighed a frustrated sigh, "Woman! What do you want from me?"
I smiled slyly, finally, we"re getting somewhere. "A date. Don"t get me wrong, never would I go out with a guy who dared to insult me, but this is to please my wounded ego."
"I"m engaged!" He blurted, probably desperate.
I pretended to care for a second before saying, "Really? Well, as long as your fiancée doesn"t find out, we"re all good, right?"
He scowls at me as I grin in victory. "Fine," he surrenders, "One date, no strings attached." He extended his hand for me to shake, as though it was a business deal.
"Deal. Get ready to have the best date of your life," I shook his hand.
"How are you so sure?" He asked curious.
I smirked, "Because you"re going on a date with me, so it"s bound to be the best,"
He walked away groaning and grumbling, leaving me smiling like an i***t who just won the lottery. Phase Two complete.
"Meet me at Ricca"s Café tomorrow at five... better not ditch, or else the whole world will know about your small d**k, junior." I yelled out not caring about the looks we were getting.
He stops for the third time, "How would the whole world know?"
I gave him a secretive smile, "I have my ways..."
He paled and ran away.
Right at that moment, I saw my stepdad, Steven, waving his hand frantically trying to get my attention. Finally, mum sends someone to pick me up.
I ran up to him to give him a hug.
"Who was that guy you were talking to?" He asked, in a tone that a father uses regarding his daughter"s boyfriend. Basically a protective tone. Which is one of the reasons I love my stepdad so much.
I smiled, in which he gave me a look of horror. After a couple of seconds or so he said, "Your next conquest, huh."
I widen my smile, and he got the idea.
