Chapter 18

    Everyone ran out the front door to see what I had for them, they looked everywhere that they could think of, but couldn’t find it, then everyone including Mr. Wolfton and his family looked at me with confusion on their faces.

“where is this something that you have for us KC, we all don’t see it anywhere.” Mr. Wolfton asked me.

I smiled while shook my head than told him: “I have to call her first Mr. Wolfton.”

“wait. did you just say her, KC! Do you mean?” Mrs. Wolfton asked then came to tears when she figured it out who I meant. I nodded my head with a smile, glanced up to the Sky and whistled to the heavens to bring Hanna down one last time.

          Like the last two times, the heavens brought down the creamy light with glitter to the ground where I was standing, then Hanna flouted down from the heavens for her family and pack to see her again, Mr. and Mrs. Wolfton gasped along with their son, and just like the last time I had to stop all of them for not coming any closer to Hanna, even though I know how much every one of the families want to hold their child one last time, I do wish I could let them, but they can’t; they could only talk to each other, but that’s it.

          I told the situation to all of them why they couldn’t come any near Hanna, everyone didn’t like it, but understood anyways, Mr. Wolfton was the most who didn’t like the idea, but he too couldn’t argue with it either, Mrs. Wolfton did understood while kept crying with joy and happiness to see her daughter again, even Matthew joined her while holding his mother in a comfort way.

“I’m truly sorry Mr. Wolfton, really I am, I do wish all the families who I’m protecting would be able to hug their child again, but I don’t want to get in trouble from him if I did just that.” I told Mr. Wolfton in apology way.

          “KC’s right daddy, Father lord told all of us girls, fifteen of us, after KC had left the Heavens, not to let our families to hold us, kiss us, or being near us, we could only come down to earth once KC sends us the signal and let our families see us one last time. (then Hanna glanced to me with a smile then said) thank you KC for saving my family, and my pack.”

“you some explaining to do with me Missy, once I’m done with something else, I need to do first.” I told her while I had my arms crossed on my chest.

“yes, sorry about that. see you soon than KC.” Hanna said with a guilt on her face. than Hanna waved good bye to her family and her pack and up back to heaven she went.

          “now I would need to talk with the rest of the girls so I would know which of them are supernatural and which actually were human besides Hanna and Catherine, from Catherine. I’ll let it go since she probably didn’t know that she was part werewolf, but Hanna!” I said this to myself, sigh surprises never seem to amaze me.

“KC, I’m sure the girls or Father lord if he did know about this all along didn’t mean of not telling you, you’re an Identity Vampire with no weaknesses, so of course there would be some supernatural people on this earth, rather their full or part, you are still down on this earth to help these girls by protecting their families from their enemies, just like you had done for Catherine’s family, and it goes for Hanna Wolfton for her family. and let’s not forget the other girl’s family you had also saved.” Magali said from the open door on the porch.

          “Magali your up and about, how do you feel brother.” Sean asked him; while everyone glanced to the speaker; once we all saw who it was every one of the pack were happy with relief to see Magali alive from his new changed.

“never better, and KC’s right about everything, I don’t feel any different, I’m still the same werewolf through and through, I just don’t have any weaknesses anymore, and I thank you for the bottom of my heart KC. now I could help my brothers and sisters, including my two Alphas and their son in this pack, so if there’s any danger coming our way; I’ll be ready for anything.”

“good to hear that Magali, because from now on, starting tonight, I’m placing you to watch over my son as his bodyguard, and that goes for the rest of the children in this pack.” Mr. Wolfton ordered him.

“I won’t let you down Sir.” Magali replied.

“you’re welcome Magali, and I do have to say. Identity does suit you perfectly for a werewolf.” I complimented him with a smile.

Magali smiled back to me.

          “alright than, Tom, you could pick up Lasomie, while I’ll pick up Miezul Noptii, and then we’ll be on our way to find someone who could take care of them for me, and I know just the person who could do the job.” I informed Tom.

Tom nodded then picked up Lasomie, while I picked up Miezul Noptii, we waved our good byes and off we went heading out to find Venson so I could give him his reward which Father Lord has for him.

As we walked out of Mr. Wolfton’s Property through the gate, Tom and I sniffed the air to find Venson’s scent than followed the trail all the way to his house on top of a hill with lots of space and trees for the Jaguars to play and be themselves; the hill which we’ve came a cross was in the middle between Crandall Deer Creek woods and Upper Cotton wood wild life, but several miles away from both towns, it’s a steep hill where any human would get hurt if they’re not careful, as Tom and I got closer to the house, the place was more like a small mansion where you could put about ten maybe fifteen people in for just one night stay if they were lost from the weather.

          To most people would think that this place would need a fixture upper and I wouldn’t blame them this place defiantly needed a T.L.C in big capital letters, this place did in face looked like it was haunted just by the way it was, the windows were all broken, the shingles on the roof were torn, holes on porch fence in different places and the wood on the exterior wall even the stairs looked all beat up or there’s nasty termites eating the wood, the doors for the windows of the outside looked like they might be coming off from its hinges any moment, and then of course the brown paint on the walls and the dark tan paint from on the trim of the house were pilling off, even the  dark blood red curtains which you could see from the windows needed to be replace from all the wears and tears it has, dame this place was screaming for help and love just so it could come back to life again.

          “Tom?” I said while still looking at this once beautiful house in front of me.

“yeah.” Tom replied, while looking at the same house.

“if you ever lost your mate. don’t you ever destroyed your home, like he did, when you get one. got it.” I warned him with an order.

“is that your theory of what had happened here, to this once beautiful house?” Tom asked with wondering disbelieve.

“that would be my exact theory of what had happened.” I conformed him.

“OK. no destroying house, got it.” Tom suggested.

if Tom was trying to be funny this wasn’t the time right now, not when you’re see the most beautiful house turning into ruins before your very eyes; I felt sorry for Venson, but I feel more sorrier for the house who didn’t do anything wrong besides standing tall and did looked beautiful for its owner.

“I’ll be right back Tom stay right here.” I told him

“got it.” Tom replied.

I walked away from the house just a few miles away from it then I did my signal and waited. few moments later Catherine was standing next to me with a smile on her face.

          “thanks again KC. I really do appreciate all the things you’ve done for my family and me.” Catherine said.

“you didn’t know what your father was, did you?” I asked her calmly while changing the subject.

Catherine shook her head while still looking at me “no he didn’t, he never did told me what I was part of though I don’t know why, something must of happened between him and my uncle who I never meet, where they went into separate ways , but I did got a glimpse to see who was at the front door that my father was arguing at, saying something like “you’re not a loud to come on to my property’ and he also said that he wanted him to leave and to stay away from his family, my father even said the word ‘you Monster’, in the sentence, then without my father seeing me I slowly walked back to my room.” She told me.

          “what happened next after that Catherine.” I asked her, letting her to continue with her story

“well, way before I meet Venson, I was waiting for the bus to take me to school, when a black mustang came up to me than stopped in front of me, the window went down and when I looked inside through the passenger door, I thought it was my father for a moment there, but I knew he wasn’t, he then asked me if I needed a ride to get to the school, I did told him ‘no’ that I was ‘fine’ ‘til he told me who he was and that he wouldn’t hurt me, and he had known I was listening to their argument conversation up the stairs, and well I did wanted to know more about my father’s family, so I got into his car and he drove me straight to my school while he was telling me everything that’s been going on about him and his life, he even told me how he and my father were related, but he also didn’t told me anything either, saying that it’s not his place to tell me about my family’s life, and since I knew my father very well, I decided not to asked him and left it at that.” Catherine said with tears in her eyes and upset coming from her voice.

“do you know who finally told you, of what you were then?” I asked her.

Catherine nodded her head while the whole time she was looking down the ground while her tears kept coming down from her eyes.

 “yeah. I finally found out what I was from my friend Hanna Wolfton, she told me what I was part of from our fifteenth birthday, I didn’t believed her at first ‘til she took off her clothes and showed me what she was from in the woods from my house, she turned back in to human then said ‘it was the only way I’ll be able to believe her’ then while she had her clothes back on, she had told me that my uncle was also a werewolf and that my father was half werewolf, when I heard her said this, I was. I don’t know surprised, shock, but I also wanted to know more, so I asked her to tell me everything of what had really happened, and so she did. (then Catherine finally glanced at me again and said) my father still doesn’t know that he’s half werewolf even to this day.” She said while her tears were still running down on her checks.

“I understand Catherine, your uncle told me everything of what had happened with him and your father, well except of what you just told me, anyways I need to take you to Venson, after all you are his reward for helping me saving Hanna’s family and pack.” I told her.

Catherine nodded than walked with me back the way to the mansion. as we got closer to the mansion again Catherine looked up at the place with a shock on her face.

“Gasped. KC? What happened to this house?” Catherine asked with disturbed for the exterior of a home.

“well. my theory would be, from the day you died Catherine, Venson had destroyed everything from outside of his home, and I don’t even want to know what he had done from inside, but we have to go in so he could see what father had sent him, Venson doesn’t know that you are his reward, and not only that, but I also have two baby jaguars who needed a home and someone who would be willing to take care of them, since I can’t do it, not when I’m working from every danger zone, which I know I’ll be facing a cross from in all of my missions, so would you be able to help me take care of these two baby jaguars, if you and Venson trained them, they would protect your home and both of you at the same time.” I suggested to her while asking.

          Catherine glanced to me from the house and gave me a smile saying “I would be honored to do just that for you KC.” then looked back to the house, her facial changed back to worried, disbelieve, and even concerned for the poor house, even I know both she and Venson would have their work cut out just to fix this house back together, but I know they would get it done, or I could do it for them with just a wave from my hand and think up of a spell to make this house brand new again. -hmm should I- I thought.

One look towards Tom’s direction told me, he was thinking of the same thing, with a smile I nodded to him where he nodded right back with a smile as well, so I asked Catherine.

          “tell you what Catherine, how about Tom and I fix this house up for both of you, that way you and Venson won’t have to do anything and spend a lot of money on this poor thing, and if Venson destroys this house again, well I’m sure you know what to do from there with him, so on us for free for just this once. K?” I suggested this to her.

Catherine looked back to me with a shock on her face, then with a smile Catherine nodded her head to give us the go-ahead signal, but first things first. give Venson his reward.

“placer aperire.” I said to the house and the front door opened for us, then we walked into the house, Tom and I didn’t need to worry about the thresh hold on us cause the way the poor house was, so the house itself let us in with no worries.

          As we walked into the place, the interior was just as bad as the exterior of the house, everywhere was destroyed; the walls, the furniture, the chandlers which were up on the ceilings are now everywhere on the floor in millions of pieces, the stairs all the way to the second floor were completely destroyed on each step up, the picture frames, even pictures, everything. I snapped.

“that’s it. I’m so, not gone a walk any farther, I-I need to help this house asap, no body say anything, no body move, or anything, until I’m done, now let me think. what spell would be right to fixes houses both interior and exterior, hmm.” I said while thinking of a perfect spell to fix this house. got it, I put my arms out over my head then said the incantation:

I call up on the elements

On this night, to turn back

The clock to bring this house

Back to life.

Then right before your eyes, every place was putting itself back together, the walls had their color back, the chandlers were back together like it had never been shattered into million pieces, the pictures and the frames looked just like new again, and the Stairs were back being shining stairs, just like from when you first bought the place. Tom walked back out of the house wanting to check the material and the fixture upper now from the exterior work, later came back inside and gave me a big smile which told me the outside of the house was back to its original look again, while all the walls, the windows and everything else was being put back together the only thing I left alone were the furniture, and whatever else was destroyed so both Catherine and Venson could go into town and buy the type of furniture that they would want together.

“OK. now that’s done, I left the furniture and anything else that were still broken so both you and Venson could just go into town and buy some new ones that’s to your liking. OK.” I suggested to Catherine.

          Catherine smiled to me with a nod and all three of us headed up the stairs to the second floor.

Venson was glancing at the fire while memories of Catherine flooded through his mind when he senses someone behind him, at first, he thought it was just his imagination, until he looked behind him and saw KC standing in the door way with her arms crossed while leaning on the post, he looked at her with surprised confusion on his face wondering why she was here in his home, Venson got up off his chair to stand up and facing his guest.

“KC. how did you find me, and is that your Prodigy with you, and you even brought the two baby jaguars. though I wasn’t expecting any company, I thought you would be heading out of California to your next assignment.” Venson said with wonder.

Tom walked around to stand beside KC, letting Venson see him, then KC replied to Venson.

“I need to take care of something first before I do Venson, and yes, you are indeed correct. Tom this is Venson Wood, I’ve known Venson since the night I was with my maker seventy- seven years ago,” KC introduce her prodigy to Venson. 

“it’s an honor to meet you Mr. Wood.” Tom said.

“like wise Tom, and please call me Venson, now what.” Venson had stop what he was about to say when he saw someone moved from behind KC and Tom.

          “KC, who else did you bring into my home?” Venson asked KC though he sounded like he wasn’t liking to have strangers into his home.

“why, Venson don’t you remember what I had said few moments ago,” KC said to him in complete pretend shock.

“That if I helped you save Mr. Wolfton and his pack, and to avenged my sweet Catherine’s death, there would be a reward for me later, from the big man upstairs. Correct?” Venson suggested in agitated tone while crossing his arms.

“yes, that is correct, you meanie. and that’s the reason why I’m here, Venson Wood, here’s your reward for helping me.” KC replied.

          KC put her hand behind her than brought Catherine out into his room, Venson made a complete shocking surprised facial where he didn’t know if he was dreaming or not, he didn’t even want this to end if it was a dream, ‘til he finally said.

“Catherine. is it really you my sweet? please tell me I’m dreaming? are you really here my sweet?” Venson replied, hoping he really wasn’t dreaming.

“yes, Venson, I’m here, and no you’re not dreaming my love, I’m here as your reward for helping KC save Hanna’s family including her pack. would. would you still love me even if I wasn’t part werewolf, I really didn’t know that I was. until Hanna told me when I was fifteen, I must have forgot to tell you or something rather. please don’t be angry with me, I’ll always love you Venson no matter what of our differences between us.” Catherine told him.

          “I know my sweet. KC told me everything. and I still care about you and still love you. (then he pulled out the ring from under his shirt that was still hanging on a gold chain around his neck) I kept this to remember you my sweet, I kept you with me.” Venson told her.

“oh, Venson.” Catherine cried out, then ran up to him with her arms out, Venson pulled her from around her waist, holding her in a bear like of a hug while Catherine had put her arms around his neck; you would think she would had said something to him where she couldn’t breathe, but she didn’t, then Venson finally let go of Catherine and looked back to KC than said to her.

“thank you, KC, truly thank you, oh and sorry about the house, I’ll have to get started working on repairing on this house as soon as possible, so my beautiful bride could finally live with me.” When Venson said this to KC, he was looking down at Catherine’s eyes with love in his, while holding her lower face and neck with his large hands.

“actually, you won’t have to do that Venson, I’ve already took the liberty of re fixing the house for you, all there is for both of you to do would be buying some new furniture, and whatever else you need to replace.” KC told him.

          That got Venson’s attention, looking at KC with surprise; “really. you did, (I nodded my head), well thank you again KC. (then looked back down to Catherine with a smile), what do you say my sweet, help me bring my home to life with your love. would you marry me. now. tonight. I couldn’t wait another day of not having you by my side as my wife.” Venson asked Catherine with so much love in his eyes, it makes anyone want to be in tears.

“yes, my love, I would marry you.” Catherine replied with tears in her eyes. And for that being said Venson kissed her like he had never kissed her before.

“oh, and before Tom and I leave, I was hoping you could take care of these two baby Jaguars for me, Catherine has already agreed to help me, so, now I’m asking you Venson.” I informed him.

“I too would be honored to take care of both Lasomie, and her brother Miezul noptii KC, if both you and Tom would come to the wedding” Venson replied with a smile.

both Tom and I smile with a nod to him.

          Few moments later both Venson and Catherine said their I Do’s and then they were married in an old court house size church which was in ruins with Tom and I as their witnesses, and a vampire priest who Venson had known for a long time, it was just a small wedding since Catherine’s family still thinks their daughter is still in heaven, then a while later both Tom and I said our fair wells and off we both went ‘til we were back to the town of Upper Cotton wild life area.

“that was a nice wedding. it was my first time for me being in a vampire wedding, but still that was indeed nice.” Tom said to me.

“yeah, it’s the same thing for me too, in fact, I’ve never been to any weddings before, not from my old life or this life.” I informed him.

             “really.” Tom asked with disbelieve from what he just heard from KC.

“yeah.” I told him.

“and you know. I would have been honored to help you raise wild baby animals too KC, just so you wanted to know, I could have taken care of those two baby Jaguars.” Tom said giving me his information.

“yeah, I know, but I didn’t see you raising jaguars, Deer, or Grizzly bears, but don’t worry, I’ll make sure to come over to your place when I do have an orphan wild baby animal in my arms. (then looked up to Tom with a smile) promise.” I said to him.

“thanks KC. I can’t wait. well I better get back to my town than. see you around KC, bye.” Tom said waving his good bye to me.

“yeah, see you around Tom.” I said, then I brought my wings out to the open and started flapping them ‘til I was up in the air, then headed straight towards Mt. Everest again.

    “MISS HANNA WOLFTON, why didn’t you tell me, you and your family were werewolves in the first place?” I straight up asked Hanna. While I was waiting for Hanna to give me this information which she forgot to mention to me from the beginning, I was in Father Lord’s castle waiting to hear where my next assignment would be at, while also asked Father Lord to have one of the archangels to bring the girls back to his castle so I could have a talk with them, I did told Hanna from down the earth that she had some explaining to do and I meant what I said.   

By the time, I got back from my first three missions, I got a ‘good job’ from Eric the gatekeeper, then a few angels called out to me, while I was walking on the path towards to Father Lord’s castle, who also gave me a ‘job well done’ comment towards me, I thought maybe I got all the angels to like me, but everyone were still the same. not wanting to be around me, that’s fine; it just tells me that I’m making progress from the job I’m doing for Father lord of us all, but I’m still not giving up; at less I’m getting the calm look from all of the angels instead of terrified, or scared look from the.

So here I am now, glaring at Hanna, waiting for her to explained to herself, but the more I waited the more agitated I was getting,

“well.” I said to Hanna while I had my fist on my hips, with a type of a facial that says: you-better-answer-me, but she didn’t, all she did was giving me a shy expression which was telling me, she didn’t want me to do anything bad to her if she did tell me about her family and herself. sigh with irritation, then I put my hands up in the air out of surrender.

“alright, alright. would the rest of the girls please tell me about your families before I go do my next mission? please.” I asked them all nicely. nothing, so I looked to father lord, begging him to do this for me.

“ladies, you might as well tell her, after all, she is the one who’s helping you.” Father Lord informed them.

So, each one of the girls, minus Hanna, told me about her family, which ones were supernatural and which ones were humans.

“thank you, now I know who are the families that I’ll be protecting from your enemies who wanted to assassinate them for. My Lord, where would you want me to go for my next mission, I’m ready to head back out to save the next three families for the next three girls.” I asked him.

“the next three girls would be: Carissa McJohns family first, Chelsalina Jacksons family second, and Kerrie Claws family last, their families live in Mississippi, but before you leave KC, I would suggest you get some rest first, then you could be on your way.” He informed me.

“yes, My Lord.” I replied to him. After I was done bowing to him, I Headed back out from the Lord’s castle, then headed up to my cloud house where I had left it.
