The doctor's office was exactly as I remembered Dr Martinez had been our family physician for years, a competent enough doctor but one that failed me when it mattered most.
In my previous life, Dr Martinez had told me about the magic siphon that was happening and had informed me to tell Xenois, which I did repeatedly, insisting something was wrong, only for Xenois to brush it aside and say it was normal childhood illness, nothing to worry about.
