Before Ari reached the spot where Grey stood, her sadness could already be felt by her mate because of the bond which Grey could feel so strongly, being a werewolf. Grey turned to meet her and stretched out a hand to Ari. It took a few seconds for Ari to receive the outstretched hand but Grey was glad to not be rejected. So, when they stood side by side looking over the stretch of water flowing away from the spring, hands held in tight grasp of each other, each with her own thoughts, the wind blew softly fanning their emotions bottled in the depth of their hearts.
