A young, handsome man, lying on his stomach with duvet failing to cover his large devil tattoo on his back, is completely unaffected by the sun rays which r trying to have a peek in his dark room, but alas, failing completely.
A woman in her mid 40's comes with a tray carrying a cup of earl grey tea and a sweet smile playing on her lips. She comes n sits beside the man n slowly ruffles his hair.
Lady : Betu, wakey wakey time.
Yes, the man is none other than Arjun Singhania.
Arjun moves and places his head in her lap n covers his face with the lady's saree.
Arjun: Let me sleep more Mom.
Sudha: no Betu. Come on its wakey time.. My Raja Putra.. (king son)
And bingo! A million dollar smile appears on Arjun's face. He loves the way his mother affectionately calls him 'Raja Putra'. It was a deal between them, every morning Sudha would wake him up calling him Raja Putra, and in return he would smile wholeheartedly and kiss her on the cheek. As Arjun got up to kiss his mother, there is a loud.. THUD!!
Arjuna was sleeping on the edge of his bed n as he woke up to kiss his mother, he fell down with loud bumps, breaking his beautiful dream, which was once a reality.
Every night, he worked until every cell in his body was screaming with pain, and until his eyes failed to stay open, and every morning he fell out of bed, breaking his beautiful dream. Thus ended his nights and began his mornings.
This is Arjun Singhania, a completely worn out soul now.
A knock on his door brings him out of his thoughts, his soul, his reflection, Emir comes, and goes and settles down on the ground next to him.
Emir: The scene looks different from here, doesn't it?
Arjun: Which scene?
Emir: Outside.. Look at this.. I see the sky blue, do you see it too??
Arjun: What the hell Emir.. you drank early in the morning? How can you always talk nonsense?
Emir: Baba Emir never talks nonsense
Both fall silent for a while.
Emir: Arjun, sharing will make you feel better.
Arjun: Emir, I have nothing to share.

Emir Self Talk: Till when Arjun? For how long will you keep everything hidden in you? I knew that whatever happened in the past is still fresh in your mind, and it will remain fresh until you let it go. What bothers me is that you never shared, you never talked about that incident. I hope and pray that God sends an angel to help you overcome this phenomenon and fill this void in you.
Arjun comes out of the washroom and both leave his room. On reaching the hall, Arjun's father called him.
Papa: Good morning son! how are you this morning? Look, your Earl Gray tea is waiting for you
Arjun: Good morning papa! How are you?
Karan: Arjun, you don't answer one question by asking another! Anyway, your eyes say you had a very peaceful night, right? (Sarcastically)
Before Arjun could say anything, a woman's voice interrupted him.
Sudha: Of course his eyes tell the story of his night. He kept partying all night, least bothered that his parents might be worried for him.
Emir: No aunt actually..
Arjun: Goodbye papa, we are getting late for college. let's go Emir.
Saying this he stopped Emir from saying anything further and left the house. Karan gestures to Emir to take care of Arjun to have his breakfast. Emir nods n leaves.
Karan: Sudha, why can't you forget the past and let him come close to you again? You know he loves and misses you, I know you love and miss him too. And you're making his favorite Earl Gray tea of all time.
Sudha: He is the one who brought the distance, not me.
Karan: Really Sudha? The way you treat him is evident in your words and tone. Please Sudha, it's been 3 years now. I don't understand Sudha, you love him but you can't accept him, why?
Sudha: I have to go, there is a board meeting in college, I can't be late. See you Bye.
This is the everyday scene of Singhania Mansion, where Arjun avoids getting close to his parents, he counter questions to answering their questions, his father tries to bring him closer to them, makes the atmosphere lighter, And his mother taunts him as his morning wishes.
But was it the same 3 years ago? Or was the scene completely different? And will it continue like this or will God really fulfill the wish of Emir and send an angel into Arjun's life?
