As Lana ran on the treadmill that following morning, she could not shake the fear and anxiety she felt the previous day. She had to keep herself from repeatedly texting Beck and asking if he was alright. She couldn't believe someone would treat such a sweet person so cruel. She had to clear her head. She needed to be ready for her date with Reeza.
Due to what happened to Beck, she was hesitant to take the day off. "He's a grown man. He can protect himself better than I can." Lana whispered to herself. She needed to relax to the fullest so she could be especially beautiful for the event. All the crying and depression, left her struggling to find her happy place daily.
