Lana slowly opened her eyes. The sun was blinding. [Sun?] The sound of sea gulls echoed on the warm breeze.
"What? Where are we?" Lana rubbed her hand through the white sand. Her skin burned and tingled.
"Reeza! Where the hell are we?" Lana looked around. Reeza was no where to be found. She was on a beach, with a cliche tropical forest to her back. She was still wearing her gray gown from the charity event.
Lana continued to call Reeza's name. After walking a little ways down the beach, she found Reeza laying in the sand. Her body was about to be washed out sea. [Or was she being brought in from the sea?]
Lana rushed to Reeza's side. She checked her lungs and her pulse. She seemed to be asleep. Lana started to shake Reeza by the shoulders.
