"I thought I told you to stay away from that beast?" Madden said, his eyes madly red with anger.
"I...I'm...so...sorry" Onyx stammered, sweating despite the AC.
"You love daring me, and I told you that daring me turns me on,right?"
"It...won't...ha...happen...happen again"

She moved hesitantly and he yanked off the rose from her hair with his hand, crushing the petals badly. She was at the brink of tears.
"If you cut your hair, I swear I'll choke you to death with my d..."
"I won't cut my hair, I swear "
He brought her ear to his face, with his hot breaths leaving goosebumps on her skin.
"You are mine. Mine and mine alone" He said every word with heat.
She gulped frightfully, the room became so uncomfortable and hot for her. She found it difficult to breathe. She found her eyes closing slowly, and she fell, unconscious.
"Just the beginning,flower" He said.

Onyx woke up the next morning to see her mum and sis sitting by her bed.
"Mum...Tanya...how did I get here?" She asked, sitting up.
"You passed out and you were brought here" Tanya said.
"What happened baby? Is everything fine?" Her mom asked worriedly.
"Yes mum, of course. I guess I passed out cus of..."Onyx trailed off.
"Well, this bouquet was delivered to us few minutes ago " Tanya said, bringing the bouquet.
Onyx took the bouquet full of white roses and inhaled it, feeling at ease instantly.
'Hardin's such a gentleman' She thought, smiling.
"We'll go now, bye " Tanya said and they both left.
Onyx noticed a black card in the bouquet. She opened it.

That was the content of the card. She gulped, goosebumps forming on her skin already.
"Why did Madden send it?" She wondered.
She inhaled it again and it soothed her nerves.
