Onyx was done for the day. It was past 9 pm when she left the Wills' mansion. On her way out, she bumped into Hardin who was just arriving.
"Oh...so sorry" She mumbled, moving away.
"It's okay. New face, are you..." He asked.
"Madden's new maid? I am"
"Name?"
"Onyx"
"What a nice name for an angel"
"Thanks. Well I was actually leaving so..."
"I'll tell my driver to drop you. That brainless Madden, what was he thinking by letting you go all by yourself by this time of the night?"
"There's no need to stress yourself. I normally walk along the streets later than this"
"No, I'm telling my driver to drop you"
"No need for that Mr Hardin. My boss gave me orders to drop her personally" Lucian said, coming to them.
Hardin said nothing, gritting his jaws and walking away.
"Hop in Miss "Lucian said.
Onyx got into the car and the drive began

Onyx stretched and opened her eyes to the chirping of birds and rays of sunlight.
"s**t, I'm late" She said.
She took her phone to check the time, but saw a message from an unknown number.
-Take the day off and fix yourself-
Obviously from Madden. Fixing herself meant using his money on herself.
"Great, I just started yesterday and today I'm getting a day off?" She said sarcastically.
Her mom walked into her room.
"Morning mum" She greeted all smiles.
"When did you arrive?" Her mum, Joanna asked.
"You both were sleeping"
"What's with the bandages?"
"Nothing serious. Mum, get ready. We're going for your check-up"
"What about your work?"
"He gave me a day off"
"Oh, he's so nice"
"I wish"
"Did you say anything?"
"No. I'll take my bath now"
"Okay. Love you"
"Love you more mama"

Onyx was back from her shopping. She also got a new phone. She changed her wardrobe completely with numerous outfits and countless shoes and accessories. She also got things for Tanya and her mom.
After putting things where they belonged, she decided to give Madden a call to thank him.
"At least I have hairwash products now" She said, smiling and dialled Madden's line.
He picked up.
"Come right now!" He yelled.
"You gave me the day off, remember?" She said.
"If you're two minutes late, you'll lose your job"
That got her, and in the next minute she found herself in a cab going to meet him.
