Weeks passed by and it turned to months. Despite Madden's warning, Onyx and Hardin still got closer each passing day, and Onyx realized she had a crush on Hardin, who liked her too. But no one told the other.

Onyx was in her room at the Wills' mansion, when she received a text from Hardin.

- Hey cutie -

She smiled and texted back.

- Hey, you should be focused on work, not me -

- But you've occupied my mind -

She blushed,then texted back.

- Didn't know -

- Well, let's go on a dinner date tonight -

- Date? Really? -

- Yeah, are you gonna agree? -

- Yes -

- Good. I'll send you the dress and accessories -

- Okay -

- I have a conference meeting in five minutes -

- But Madden won't let me go with you -

- Give him sedatives -

- What? -

- Yeah -

- Where do I find them? -

- I have some in my drawer -

- Okay, I'll try giving them to him -

- Bye, take care -

- Bye -

She dropped her phone and blushed. Hardin and her,on a date? Unbelievable! She stood up and went to Madden's room.

"Where were you?" Madden asked, still cold as always.

"In my room. You were on a call so I thought it's best not to disturb" She replied.

"Mmm" He nodded. "You're sleeping over"

"What?" She exclaimed.

"Is there anything wrong? This isn't the first time you'll be sleeping over"

"But...my...my..."

"Keep your excuses to yourself. You're sleeping here and that's final"

"Okay"

"Now go, I'll call you when I need you"

She nodded and left.
