"Please come in Miss"A maid ushered Onyx inside.
It was her first day at Madden's house. She was mesmerized at the beauty of the mansion. It seemed like heaven.
"Thanks"She said and sat on one of the sofas.
It was so soft till she felt she'd sink inside.
"Do you need anything?"The maid asked.
"I'm fine, thanks"She responded.
Soon, she saw the most handsome guy she had ever seen in her life coming downstairs in a tailored suit, with another man rushing behind him holding a briefcase. She was too stunned to speak,as he passed by her without sparing her a glance.
"Hardin... Hardin Wills"She almost screamed. "He's a lot more finer in person. New crush"
"Please Miss, follow me"A maid told her.

She followed the maid upstairs, still mesmerized by the mansion. It felt like paradise. She got to a door and then the maid spoke up.
"Here Miss, this is Mr Madden's room. Please don't annoy him in anyway"The maid said and left.
Onyx knocked patiently. She waited for some time before knocking again. Still she got no response. Annoyed, she barged into the room and met him operating his laptop,his back turned on her.
"Didn't you hear me knock?Or are you also deaf?"She asked angrily.
Slowly,he turned to face her. Obviously, she was wrong earlier on, because this is literally the most handsome dude she's ever seen in her whole life. A demigod. Full hair, pink lips, perfect body, but crippled- spoiler alert.
"So rude on your first day"He said.
"I'm sorry, I was just annoyed"She said.
"Well you need patience when dealing with me, cus it's gonna take your patience to make me walk again"
"Like I said, I'm sorry"
"You can walk away if you're not ready for the job"
"I am ready. I need the money"
"Don't break any of my rules"
"If it's the 'love rule', I'm not breaking it,cus I don't even feel anything for you, you're not my type,too high-class..."
"And looking at you is worse. Too miserable and pitiful. That's why I employed you for this job. By the way, you're late"
"Traffic"
"That means...well forget it. Introduce yourself"
"I'm Onyx, I guess that's enough introduction"
"Fine. Well these are my pills, you give them to me twice daily, you should never make me coffee. My mum does so and then you bring it up for me, always give me a massage when I need it..." He kept listing what she should and shouldn't do
"Got it" She said when he was done. "So what can I do now?"
"Give me your account details"
She gave it to him and he sent money to her.
"Use that to upgrade yourself. You can't be my personal maid and look like this" He said.
"Thanks" She said, fishing out her phone to view the money sent. Three hundred thousand?
"Oh my f*****g gawd" She muttered, too stunned to blink.
Immediately he caught sight of her phone,he sent some more money to her.
"Use that to change this s**t you call a phone" He said.
Okay, this is too much on her first day. She hasn't even done anything yet.
"Thank you so much" She said.
"These are the keys to your room, you might have to sleep over sometimes" He said.
She took the keys.
"Okay" She said. "I should go get your coffee now" She added and left downstairs.
She found the kitchen easily. There were no maids inside, only a beautiful lady dressed in a white gown.
"Good morning ma'am" Onyx greeted politely.
Mrs Wills turned, looking at her and accessing her features.
"Who are you?" She scoffed.
"I'm Onyx, Mr Madden's new maid"
"So what are you doing here?"
"Umm...I wanted to get his coffee"
"Wash your filthy hands before touching it"
Onyx swallowed the urge to talk back and quietly washed her hands before taking the mug of coffee and going upstairs.
"Seems like Madden has lost his mind. What sort of ugly thing is this in form of a maid?" Mrs Wills talked hatefully.
