I had gotten a mind-link from Clair, reporting that she had stumbled across one of my patrol warriors, dead by the border. She didn’t give me specifics, but she sounded panicked. I need to go to her immediately.
I was with Erik and Jared when I got the link and quickly updated them before we made our way to her.
Where are Isabella and Trish? I wondered. Hopefully, they’re with Clair. I hate that I can’t mind-link with Isabella yet. Luckily that will be rectified in a few days when we have the joining ceremony.
As we got closer to the border, Isabella, Clair, and Trish came into sight. I let out a breath of relief when I saw that Isabella was ok. They were all naked, and I couldn’t help my possessive growl, not liking that Erik and Jared could see her body.
