I stood in my office, pacing the floor. I had just received a call from Alpha Drakes Beta, informing me that Isabella was missing. They believe she left their territory on her own.
Why would she do that? Why does she have to be so difficult? She doesn’t even know how much danger she’s in and now she’s practically handing herself over to the rogues on a silver platter. I ran my hands over my face in frustration.
Beta Jared told me that Alpha Drake was out searching for her with a team of his best men. Oh goddess, I hope they find her. I can’t lose her. She’s the only family I have left, I thought as I held my head in my hands.
Maybe I should put a team together and head out to help them search for her.
