Ella's POV The gates creaked behind me, ancient and rusted, just like the memories trapped inside them. I stood at the threshold of the pack that once made me feel like I was nothing. The place where I was born, beaten, rejected. And yet here I was again, the girl they tried to bury, now walking out alive. We passed the gates without glancing back.
