The city of Rome buzzed with tension. The media fallout from Aria's expose continued to ripple through law enforcement, political offices and underworld dens alike. The Feretti family, blindsided and exposed.retaliated by going underground and stricking back in silence. Aria, now an unwilling public figure, found herself swarmed by press and walked by faceless threats. She'd ignited a war with truth and her name was now a spark in every whispered conversation from back alleys to parliament. In the Romano mansion,Luca gathered his men. "Security is our priority, Aria is being followed. We tighten the perimeter around her. No one touchers her." Enzo nooded. "We've traced the treates. It's Feretti loyalties was splintered, scattered, but deadly. Luca looked out the window at the city skyline. "This ends soon." Meanwhile,Aria sat across from her father at the dining table in his quiet apartment, the tension sharp enough to slice bread. "I told you this would happen," Dante said. "And you told me the system would protect the innocent," Aria shot back. "We both lied." He sighed. "I just want you safe." "I'm only safe if the truth is out there." He studied her. "Do you love him?" She didn't answer immediately. "I don't know if it's love. But I trust him. More than I trust most people." Dante nooded, accepting more than he want to admit. One week later,Aria received a package. No name,no return address. Inside: a single photograph of Gianna bounded, gagged, and bruised. And a note, "Tell Luca to back off. Or she dies." Aria's scream shattered the silence. At the Romano mansion, the storm broke. Aria, pale and shaking, handed Luca photos. "They took Gianna." Luca's jaw tightened. He looked to Enzo. Mobilize every contact. We find her." "We don't negotiate with terrorists," Enzo added. Aria stopped forward. "But if we wait, she could die." Luca nooded. "Then we don't wait." In a dingy warehouse on the outskirts of the city, Gianna was held captive. A guard handed her a phone. "Say what we tell you." The call went through. Aria answered. "Aria," Gianna cried. "They going to kill me......" A smack. Silence. Then the voice: "Bring Luca. Alone. Midnight. Or she bleeds." Midnight approached. Luca dressed in black, holstered a weapon and turned to Aria. "You're staying here." "No," she said. "She is my best friend. I'm going." "You could die." "So could you. We do this together." He didn't argue. He just held her close for a moment, the nooded. At the warehouse, everything was quiet. Too quiet. Luca and Aria stepped inside. Armed men waited. "Romano," one said. "Drop the gun." Luca obeyed. "Where is she?" A door creaked. Gianna was dragged out, eyes wide with terror. "Let her go," Aria pleaded. "You expose us," the thug sneered. "Now we expose you." A shot rang out. Aria screamed. Luca tackled her down, drawing his hidden pistol. Chaos exploded. Gunfire echoed. Men dropped. Enzo's team burst through the back, cathing the captors off guard. In minute. It was over. Gianna was safe. Shaken, but safe. Back at the Romano mansion, silence reigned. Aria sat beside Gianna, bandaging her wrist. "I'm sorry," Aria whispered. Gianna smiled faintly," You're the only reason I'm alive. Don't ever be sorry for that." Later, Luca stood alone in his study. Aria entered. "We won," she said. "No," he murdered. "Not yet." "What do you mean?" "I want out. Out of the family business. Out of blood and war." Aria moved to him. "You can. We'II figure it out." But Luca knew better. You don't leave the mafia. Not alive. The next morning, Enzo approached Luca. "The elders know your plan. They're calling a meeting tonight." "What kind of meeting?" "The kind where blood might be spilled." That evening,in the Romano family chamber, the leaders sat in a circle. Candles lit. Eyes watchful. Lcca stood in the center. "I want out," he said. "And I want Enzo to take my place." Murmur's. Anger. Confusion. "You don't get to walk away," one elder spat. "You were born into this." "And I've bled enough for it," Luca said. Another elder leaned forward. "If you go, we'II be weaker. Vulnerable." Luca shook his head. "You'll be smarter. Enzo is level headed. He knows how to build peace," Enzo stopped forward. "Let him go. I'II keep the family strong." A long silence. Then, a nod. "So be it." Later that night,Aria and Luca packed their things. "Where will we go?" she asked. "Anywhere. Somewhere quiet. Just us." They drove through Rome's sleeping streets, headlights slicing though fog and memory. Behind them, a legacy. Ahead, a future neither of them could predict. But freedom has a price. A black car followed them. Inside: a Foretti soldier with unfinished business. He raised his phone. "I found them." Aria
