Before the Day Aryn will move out of her hometown, Tristan was informed by his friend in Honfleur that is luckily one of her neighbors that she will move out. He seems surprised that she will move out and thought that it might be also the reason why he found her sitting in the dock under the moonlight in Le Vieux Bassin. He also mentioned to his friend that he made friends with a name Aryn who has a café in Honfleur and that’s what happened.
He considered it lucky because he can finally move on to his mission given by his grandfather. He plans to finally try to move like a good friend to her and his idea was to go on a mini trip with her alone as he gets some information. Everything is planned out according to what he wants not until he came in the wrong time and early as he was stuck with Aryn and her friend who he thinks likes him. He talked to her and fortunately, he can get some use to the Dem girl if ever Aryn is not focusing on them. He confidently smirked in the darkness they are in.
He secretly texted someone who is an expert in locating someone’s whereabouts and also their full name or social media account. After some minute, he received a notification and he grinned widely as he opened his private account that his fans never know and follow Dem. He secretly stalked her account that he might see and get some more information. He didn’t stay up too late, he might ruin his plan to persuade Aryn to ride in his car. In that way, he can know where will she be staying and make someone look at her, and supervise every move she makes.
They finally arrived at what he guessed the floor where Aryn’s auntie is staying and he secretly took note of that on his phone along with the number of the unit at the same time he received a message from the secretary of his grandfather that the old man wants to see him. He rolled his eyes at what he just read, there is no reason for him to see the old man rather than to report or to nag him about those things he seems to see as a mistake. Nevertheless, he still will be going or he might want to lose the things he has right now.
He doesn’t want to lose the little freedom he has right now. He doesn’t live with his parents anymore as he moved to Paris last year to pursue his acting but he is still under the deal he trades for his freedom. He stayed for a bit as he still looking at his phone to respond not until they were asked by Aryn’s auntie, Melinda.
“You two are dating?”
However, they were saved by his quick verbal response and denied the question asked.
“Oh, my bad! I thought you too are dating. You both looked good tog-”
“Hahaha!” Aryn laughed and noticed that the lady just gave her auntie a glare. “Stop it, auntie! We are good friends, right Trist?”
“Yeah!” He responded as he looked at his watch to see if he has enough time to stay here but because he finished his task he finally decide to leave and he bid goodbye to the two women.
“I’m sorry as I can’t stay here much longer as my grandfather wants to meet me,” He said
“Really? This is so much anyways. Thank you, Trist!” Aryn thanked him as he gave him a sweet smile and to the elder also.
“Nice meeting you, young man!” said the elder woman.
“Same to you, ma’am!”
“Come around next time! And just call me auntie too! Bye!”
“Bye!” Aryn followed and he walked away with the information he needs mostly his grandfather's needs.
He doesn’t know why he is doing this but the only thing he knows is that after this he will never ask for more. He went down to the parking lot to his car and drive away to the King Allard Village where his grandparents are living.
After driving again, and after a while he was in front of a massive black main gate between a curtain wall of the village. The village was an old palace but someone bought the land and renovate it into a private village and was named King Allard.
“STOP!” the bodyguard yelled as he noticed that someone wants to enter. The village is guarded 24/7 because the people living in the village are of high status, rich and noble. The village is not the only one it is one of the strictest villages in the city.
“Show me your ID please and your drivers' license, please!” the bodyguard instructed him which he followed. “Who will you visit?”
“Mr. Etienne,” he replied.
“What’s your relationship with him?”
“I’m his grandson,”
“Alright! You are and you have been verified! You may enter now!” the guard informed him as the gate automatically opened.
The exterior of the village seems old but it's classy and modern now. Thanks to the modernization and the man behind the project of “To rise again King Allard”. He thanked the man and went away. After a few houses, the last mansion is the oldest one and also the house of his grandfather who is waiting for him.
The gate was opened as soon as they noticed their young master’s car. This is what Tristan likes about them because they are fast at receiving notifications about him and were prepared for his coming.
“Good day, Mr. Tristan!” the secretary greeted him. “Your grandfather is waiting for you in his study.”
He nodded as an understanding. He is not surprised at where they will talk to. It seems that his mission was an important matter to his grandfather that should be taken seriously or else you will shred blood without you noticing it.
As he entered the mansion, it's clean and neat but quiet, serious and intimidating as all the furniture, the floor is made of woods that look old-fashioned, and the wood contrast with the red carpets and the dark classy painting on the walls.
“Please wait here momentarily as I informed your arrival.” The secretary excused himself as he was left alone in the living room. He once notices the table of picture frames and noticed a family picture that has a tore on it. He wonders who is it but he never had a chance to think about it a little more like the man in a suit cut off his deep thoughts.
“You can come in, now!” he said but whispered as he went up the stairs, “be careful he is not in his great mood.”
“Why?”
“That’s for me to know and you to find out. Have a nice day ahead!” the man replied and bowed to him to show his manners to the youngest master and left Tristan who is now standing at the door of his grandfather’s study.
“Speak!” he said rather sharply instead of “how is it going?” as his way of greeting. His secretary is correct, as long as he wants to know he doesn’t have the guts and he doesn’t want to cross his line.
“I’m moving forward with some information that I get when I went to her.” He gulped as his nervousness went up and negative thoughts linger in his mind if what he reported is enough.
“That’s what are you doing all this time?” he asked the younger doubting him.
“Yes, grandfather. I have many pl-”
“Not because you’re my grandson doesn’t mean you need to be a sloth!” he harshly said. “My men can do it better than you without those friendly techniques you do. I wish that your plan will lead you to the freedom you want or be caught because of that stupid plan of yours!”
“I understand!”
“Be careful at what you do you might be the one digging your grave sooner or later!”
He gulped and nodded his head. These are all nothing but a threat for him. He is in rage at how the old man insults him like his blood is not in his veins too, but that’s not stopping him to get the reward he wants to.
“Anyways, I saw that you’ve been dealing with her application too,” he said.
“Thank you for that grandfather!” He thanked him for helping him to make Aryn enter the same label as him. His grandfather has a lot of connections and one of them is the Levitate company he is under. Levitate is not his grandfather nor his father's company but only a company wherein his grandfather has the 5% share, its small but the bond is strong, and it’s always intentional.
“You may go!” His grandfather dismissed him earlier than he expected. He smirked at the thought that his grandfather considered a bit satisfied on his mission.
He went out of the mansion and drive away to the company. As he is an Etienne and also the young master of the family he has also some connections out and inside of the industry but not as many as his grandfather, Frederick Etienne.
“Hello, Eugene!” he called this manager. “I want to inform you that please host a meeting later. I want them to know what the thing is this time.”
He instructed his manager and put a smug on his face because he will know to operate his second step. As Aryn is now in the same company as his. He will make sure that everything will perfectly go well. He can gather more information and might as well try to observe that the man on his mind since he read nicknamed carved in Aryn’s telescope is the same in his label too. If that’s the case, he can now acquire 50% of making his dream come thru.
He was in the parking lot as his manager spotted him.
“Tristan, over here!” yelled Eugene.
“The staff is all confused but then they still followed!” he said with much astonishment.
“That’s good!” he replied as he glanced at his phone.
“Mr. Etienne, you are powerful and cool! I should learn from you!” the manager said who has a big smile on his face which creeped him out of death. His manager always makes him uncomfy and he also always complain to his friends but he never gets rid of him because of how diligent he worked for him and how obedient as long as you gave him cash in return for his services. Money can do all and that’s what he likes here, but he can’t persuade and older people with money. That’s why even though he is uncomfortable with his current manager he is still here because of that.
The elevator stopped and they went out straight to the conference office. He is much more excited as what he does when he first met Aryn in the harbor.
He pities Aryn’s friendliness and naïve state because she fell easily and straight into his trap that was set for her only. All this time she will never think that all of that does not happen coincidentally. His plan is smooth like butter and he is proud of what he is done.
“Good day, everyone!” he started as he walked and sit straight to the chairman’s seat and greet them with his warm smile but with his dark and intimidating aura. Everybody knows what he can, what Etienne can do to his fellows.
“I’m in such a great state, so let us discuss what I plan for my next move,” he continued.
“Sir! May I ask if are you still going to double this up until your last mission?” a guy asked. He rolled the pen in his hands as his both feet crossed above the table with him comfortable sitting in the swivel chair and he nodded his head. He wants to laugh at the guys’ reaction and thought, look at them being greedy and ready for money.
Lastly, before he continues he thanked Aryn in his mind for being cooperative in his mission and hoping for her cooperation sooner.
