Episode 4: The unexpected act

-“What did the Elite Alpha do?”- I ask Mr. Jack as we walk through the forest.

-“Your mother was not Maheegan, we never knew where she came from, all we knew was that she had very unique abilities, and that the outcast pack suddenly wanted to acquire those abilities, the day they died, after they died, the Elite Alpha back then discovered something about your powers, he discovered that your power depend on how much pain you experience, if you do not experience any pain, your powers fall into a recession, almost as if you didn’t had powers, that’s why your parents ensured you always were surrounded by love and you meditated when you got hurt, so nobody would know about your powers, the Elite Alpha manipulated the memories of everybody making them believe you mysteriously killed your parents, and forced your brothers to hate you, he left my memories intact because he knew I was the only one who could help you, since I was the only your parents trusted”- Mr. Jack answers.

-“You allowed the Elite Alpha to turn me into a weapon”- I say, Mr. Jack shakes his head.

-“I did more than that”- he says, I frown.

-“As you grew up, so did your powers, the only people who understood them were dead and the two who were alive had their memories locked and hated you, I allowed him to realize he had a weapon who he couldn’t control”- Mr. Jack says.

If I am supposed to feel thankful, I am not. He allowed my brothers to be manipulated into harming me, he allowed that to happen for 16 years, if anything I am angry at all of them.

-“And you are in all your right to feel like this”- a stranger says, I frown as I look at him.

-“Elite Alpha”- Mr. Jack says.

-“What my predecessor did was horrible and I do not forgive him, neither I forgive the Elite consul for allowing this to happen, so I will release their memories”- the Elite Alpha says.

-“What if I do not want that?”- I ask.

-“Tell me why not?”- The Elite Alpha asks in response.

-“You give them their memories back, everybody remembers, everybody knows that I did not killed them, but what good will it do? The tribe will feel bad for the treatment they gave me, spend the rest of their lives questioning themselves, my brothers get destroyed by the thought that they let my parents down, the outcome is worst than the problem, it has been 16 years, leave things as they are, I did not murdered them, that gives me peace”- I answer.

-“The anger will consume you”- the Elite Alpha says.

-“It already has”- I say.

-“Wonderful”- he says, I frown.

The elite alpha is a very weird person.

-“This cabin is far from everyone and since you have insisted on things to remain as they are, nobody will dare to bother you”- The Elite Alpha says, I nod.

-“And before I forget, you are to determine what happens to the tribe, you can choose their punishment”- the Elite Alpha says, I look at him.

-“I was not the one who suffered a beating and rejection on the hands of my siblings and my tribe”- The Elite Alpha says.

-“I…”- -“Take a moment to decide it, do not rush”- Mr. Jack says, I look at him.

-“The Elite Alpha is right, we put you through this situation, you deserve to decide what punishment we all received”- Mr. Jack says.

-“Even if that means that I want wipe out the whole tribe and pack?”- I ask.

-“It will be a shame to lose the Maheegan tribe, it will be a big impact in our tribe, but if that’s what you want, yes, you get to chose the punishment they all receive”- The Elite Alpha answers.

-“Please, do not kill us”- Mr. Jack thinks.

-“I will think about it”- I say.

Mr. Jack sighs.

-“And before so truly forget, your mate, will try to find you, because that’s something that not even I can change, I determined who is going to be with who, but I do not say when, neither how, so he will come, and you will mate”- the Elite Alpha says.

-“I can reject him”- I say.

-“Actually, rejecting it means more pain for you”- he says, I sigh.

-“When you accept him, his memories will unlock, he will know everything”- he says, I nod.

-“Very well, I will see you around”- the Elite Alpha says as he runs towards the forest.

I look at Mr. Jack -“He is weird, I know, but compare to the rest, he is better than any of the Elite Alphas we have ever had, I will come every week to bring you food, heads up, if I cannot come, Kyle will, and if anyone trespasses, you have permission to harm the person, not kill, as soon as you do, I will come check”- Mr. Jack says, I nod.

-“Bye, Blaze”- Mr. Jack says and I wave at him.

I am going to get the life I have always wanted.

-“She has to go, everything is her fault”-

-“She has to pay for she did, how she humiliate us”-

-“The murderer needs to go”-

-“Why am I doing this? She is going to kill us all”-

It has not been a day and they are ready to give me a headache. The idea of killing them as punishment doesn’t seem like a bad idea right now.

Exile. The are coming her to drag me to the center of the tribe and expose my crimes and convince the chief and alpha to kick me out of the tribe.

I sigh as I exit the cabin.

-“There…”- Calvin falls.

The rest stops walking. I release Calvin from the pain grip.

-“The tribe domains end there, any step closer and you would be trespassing, I am not responsible for what happens to you once you enter my small piece of land”- I say.

-“We have…”- -“I know why you are here, so tell me, what crime have I committed that will force the chief and alpha to condemn me to exile?”- I ask.

-“We are being punished unfairly…”- -“And what has to do with me?”- I ask.

-“It is happening because of you”- Calvin says.

-“You want to blame me from something, I am going to give a real reason to do so”- I say.

The silence between us I quickly filled with the screams of the women of the tribe, their mates.

-“Julia”- Calvin says.

-“Now you have a real reason to hate me, you have a real reason to blame me for something, the agony your mates are in”- I say.

They look at me.

-“Stop it, stop it now”- Calvin orders.

-“Or?”- I ask.

Calvin takes a step forward, the screams become louder.

-“Stop, Calvin, if you get closer she will kill them”- Darren says.

-“SILENCE, PEACE, FREEDOM, that’s all I ever wanted, that’s all I ever needed, and now that I have it you have come to interrupt, because you are being forced to stay horny for a few more days”- I say.

The screaming gets louder.

-“Please, stop”- Darren begs.

I begged him for the same.

-“Do you know what they are feeling? How the pain I felt every single time Dave laid a hand me as I begged him to stop”- I say

-“Blaze”- Kyle calls as he approaches the group.

-“I am sorry”- Kyle says, I look at him.

-“This is my fault, I should have been a better Alpha, I should have forced them to stay away, this is my doing, and I am sorry”- Kyle says.

The screaming ceases.

-“Keep them away, I am the one to give third chances” I say as I turn around.

-“Return to your duties”- Kyle orders, I walk toward the cabin.

-“She…” -“You provoked her by entering her land”- Kyle says.

-“We didn’t her property”- Darren says.

-“Her land started as soon as you walked pass the north rock”- Kyle says.

-“I..”- -“Hand labor, for a week”- Kyle says.

We all look at him.

-“Kyle…”- -“You have misunderstood what being a Maheegan wolf is about, a few days off duties will help you remind, and hopefully fix the you are behaving, now, back to your duties”- Kyle says silencing Calvin.

-“Yes, Alpha” John says as the pack starts to disperse.

I turn and continue with my path back to the cabin.

That was an unexpected turn.
