25 By the time dawn broke over the far edge of the Eternal Sea, Daemi was eager to move. She hadn’t been able to get back to sleep, the pure impossibility of what she had seen sending her mind into a tumult of chaotic thoughts that refused to slow down no matter how tired her body felt. Heather had had no such problems, seeming to accept the miracle as just another wonder in a long string of them, shrugging herself into her cloak and collapsing into sleep as soon as the strange lights faded back into the darkness. Frankle had never stirred at all. Daemi sat now, staring out at the strange expanse in front of them as it slowly changed from black to grey to green as the sun crept over the horizon.
