Tyler’s POV Sleep wasn’t even on the table. Every time I shifted in bed, pain flared somewhere new—my ribs ached like they’d been put through a vice, my split lip burned, and the cut on my hand throbbed with every heartbeat. The adrenaline that had carried me through the fight had long since drained away, leaving me with nothing but soreness and the weight of what had happened. The house was quiet. Too quiet. I’d dropped Erica and Alexis back at their hostel rooms hours ago, making sure they were safe before heading here. Now, the stillness of my place pressed in on me, a sharp contrast to the chaos of earlier. I should’ve felt relief, but the tension in my shoulders refused to let go.
