Hunter peered through the gap of the door into Daisy’s classroom, which had been left ajar. He adjusted his suit before pushing the door open to find an empty lecture hall, but his eyes wandered upward along the spiral stone staircase that led up to her private quarters. With one last tug on his lapel, he began to make his way up the stairs. He had opted for an all-black suit with a white collared shirt, which fit snuggly against his broad, muscular chest. He opted to forgo a tie and instead left the top two buttons open. In his own way, it was his form of rebellion against his father. He rapped three gentle knocks against the door to her quarters.
