As if right on cue, they heard an explosion at the end of the corridor. All of them froze, looking at Daisy and Marco for direction.
“Daisy, take everyone inside the dungeons,” Marco said. “Wake Cassandra up now. I’ll buy you some time.”
“Marco, wait!” Daisy called out after Marco. He took off sprinting in the direction of the noise without another glance back at them.
