Hunter followed Marco as they made their way through the opulent corridors. They approached the library silently, and Marco closed the door behind them after checking to see if the coast was clear. “Do you really not know where she is?” Marco asked pointedly. “I told Osiris that I didn’t,” Hunter shot back. He crossed his arms as he stared Marco down. It was evident that neither of them trusted each other in the slightest. “Is this where you two were all those nights she was gone this summer?” Hunter asked, gesturing around the library.
