Daisy’s words hung in the silence between her and the old cowboy in front of her. Hunter’s eyes flicked back and forth between her and Jack, which he assumed was the same Jack that owned the ranch.
“We need you to train these students the way you trained Marco and Seth and I,” Daisy continued.
Jack’s steely gray eyes glanced over at the group of students huddled by the showers, who flinched when his eyes landed on them. They stared back in fear with wide eyes.
