Fourteen She’d almost gotten used to the way Bariq looked at her in her bikini. Back in the time before, she hadn’t thought much about flaunting her body in front of other people, especially since her friends did exactly the same thing whenever they went to the beach or to a pool party. Now, though, it felt strange to expose so much skin, even though, if you weren’t going to wear a bikini on the beach in Costa Rica, where would you wear one? The house had a long, curved staircase that cut through the hillside and wound its way down to the shore.
