“I can make my own bowl of cereal; you know?” Aleah said from the kitchen island where she sat watching Kade work around the kitchen. Kade paused in the process of pouring the cereal into a plastic bowl. He looked up and gave her a lazy arched brow. “What? You can trust me to cook your food, but you can’t trust me with cereal in a box?” A snort cut through the air. Aleah placed her elbow on the table and rested her chin on her right palm. “Suit yourself. I was just trying to spare you.
