Zara POV
The day of the charity ball event
I looked at myself in the mirror admiring my curves and my shape. I loved the way my body looked in the Red dress I chose. At first I chose a navy blue dress but they didn't have my size. But when I saw the Red I fell in with it, even tho it showed a little to much. it had a slit that reached my thigh, it was very tight on my waist and my boobs popped out showing of my cleavage.
I tied my hair in a bun so and wore diamond hear earrings that I purchased today. For my shoes I simply wore red shoes thy matched my dress.
When I was done making sure I looked good I went to check up on Adele she was playing with her toy kitchen.
I was going to be leaving Adele with Piper and her parents. She was actually supposed to be going for a sleepover and luckily the day it was in the night of the Charity Event.
"Come on lovebug time to go" I told her
She acted like she didn't hear me and kept playing with her kitchen. This girl is something else, I wonder where she got this attitude from cause it is not from me.
I walked up to her and picked her up. I shouldn't be doing things but I really wanted to go and I don't have time for her drama.
I breathed out because this child was very heavy.
I grabbed my keys and then walked to my car with her in my hand. I put her in and then ran to the drivers seat.
When we arrived, I don't have time to small talk with Lea I just dropped Adele. And ran back into my car and went full speed ahead.
I was nervous about this event, I was excited to see all this business men of Atlanta and all over the world. This was obviously not my first to going to events like this. But since I am now single I want to make a good impression. Hopefully I will find a man or even make friends.
It had been really trusting and letting people in. After what Lizzy did to me it made me believe that all people where like that. But today I want to make new friend and have fun for once in my life.
When I go to the charity ball, I gave my cat to a man who was working for the event and he drove off. I felt so embarrassed because I was the only one wearing Red when it was clearly a white themed party.
Their was nothing I could do so I just walked in with confidence. The ball room was filled with a lot of decoration that was white. I walked down the stairs on step at a time and I felt eyes on me and when I looked up almost half the room was looking at me.
Did I have something on my face? I asked myself
When I got to the late step I heard my name being called and I knew that it was Mr Russo.
He had his usual straight face on but he was wearing a white suit on. That made him look dashing, I feel like if he had more expression on his face I would totally be head over heels.
"Good evening Mr Russo" I said
"Good evening Mrs Gonzalez, I am so glad that you made it. Although I am so sorry I didn't tell you about the dress code color."
"It is fine"
"Just know if anyone gives you problems let me know immediately. I know the owners of the people who are holding the event" he said
"Of course you do" I said to myself in my head
"And another thing plea-" he was cut of by the host of charity ball
"Good evening ladies and gentleman. Welcome to our annual Children's charity ball. It is a honor to have you fine people coming to join us in raising money for the less fortunate. Without further a do we are going to start of with women's bidding. So all the fine women please come on stage. And the woman who is bided the highest will have a chance to be with the with the man who bided you" he said
"Why is this even a thing" I asked myself
"You should go Mrs Gonzalez" mr Russo said
My eyes widened when he said that. I will never do sure a thing, what no one picks me.
"What, no way I can't do that"
"Yes you can, please this will help then business grow. And they are fine bachelors that would love to spend time with you. I mean look at how you are dressed. Please do it for me" he begged me
"Me Russo I don't know.....I mean what if no one picks me. Look at me I don't look as rich as all the other girls in this room" I said
"No, you look just as beautiful as all thee other women. You are the only one staying out from the rest of the girls.... and if no one picks you I will bid for you I promise" he said
I looked at him and he looked like he would snotty for me to go.
"Okay fine but I want a raise
Of $20 000" I told him
"Okay deal now go" he promised me
I smiled at him but he didn't smile back he simply had that straight face in his face
I walked to the stage, trying to move past the people. While I was walking by I heard women talk about him. They gave me these nasty looks, but I simply walked with confidence because these girls were just jealous.
I got on stage and I was not able to see anything that was happening in the ground floor. It was pitch black and the lights were shining bright on the girls on the stage.
"Okay, we will be starting with contest number one....she has a beautiful smile and bright blue eyes. We will start with the price
$15 000......" he went on making the price going higher and higher at the end of the day she was sold for
90 000 dollars.
I am him know doubting if I shocks actually do this because I would feel embarrassed if I was sold for 90 000 dollars like she was. Even tho it is for a good cause this is not the brightest ideas of making Money.
I breathed out when it was my turn to be bided on.
"Lord please I would not like to be bided by an old man" I prayed to the lord slightly
I heard whispering and everyone laughed. I wanted to ran away because I felt like they were laughing at me.
"Oh yes the lady in red, this must be one of the best women we have today. Okay so we are going to start with 50 000" my eyes widened when he said that.
That is a lot of money like I could live of that money for a good four years.
I looked to the crowd and a man put up his number.
"Okay anyone wants to double or add to the number eight" the bidder asked
"100 000 dollars" another voice said
"Okay to the number ten"
"160 000 dollars" another voice said
"One million" when we heard that the whole crowd made oooohhh and aaaahhh sounds because they were shocked. I was also even in more shock that it actually happened
"One million to the man holding the number 1 sign any one else who would like to add or double to that going once going......"
"Three million"
"Three million to the man holding the 8 number sign"
"Ten million"
I almost shocked when I heard that number being said. All the men seemed to have given up.
"Ten million dollars to the man holding the number one sign. Going once going twice sold to the man holding the number one sign" the bider said and everyone cheered and clapped
"Please please please Good God can I not get an old man to have brought me" I prayed to myself
I walked down the stairs and since I was unaware of who the person who got me I simply looked around. But I felt silly looking around cause I did even know who I was looking for.
I turned to where the bidding continued and felt someone stand way to close to me. I turned around and I was shocked to see someone I never thought I would ever see again.
My heart started beating when I came face to face with the man who ruined and hurt me in the worst way possible.

I am so sorry that it is not Brandon's point of view. But the next three chapters will be about his point of view and how he lived his life after he break things with Zara. You guys will not expect what is to come, get ready for the unexpected.
