Chapter 9 unedited

Brandon POV

"You bags sir" the driver told me

"Ummm thank you. You can leave the bags on the floor" I told him and pointed to the corner of the room.

He when walked out of the room leaving me alone in my thoughts.

I just arrived in Atlanta a few minutes ago. I was here to meet up with my friend and also attend one of the charity balls, which was going to be hosted in Atlanta this year.

I yawned because I was so tired, I have been losing out on sleep because I have been trying my best to look for Zara. I would sometimes sleep at 3:00am looking for her and then wake up at 7:00am to go to work.

Thinking of her is what motivated me to wake up, sleep and do the things i needed to do.

I looked at the time and it was only 12:00 so that meant I had some time to sleep before I meet up with an old friend of mine.

Beep beep beep

I slowly wake up when I heard my alarm make a noise. I groaned because I was actually enjoying my sleep that I was having. It was like the best sleep that I have in three years.

I got ready for my dinner at my friends house and then got into the car and the driver drove off.

When I arrived I knocked on the door waiting for it to be opened.

I was here to see my friend that I have known in the business world called Zeke Jones. He me invited to have some dinner and I hopefully also talk so business, he was on the top 5 most richest men and if you were in his range of friends even business partners for that matter you could go places you never thought you could go.

The door opened and I was so surprised to see Leah opening the door. I can not remember the last time I saw her.

"Brandon you are here, how lovely of you to join us again today....come in come in Zeke is waiting for you in the dinning room" she said

I walked in and I was amazed by how beautiful and big the house was. They lived in a big beautiful mansion with a lot of decoration. It was way better than my house I can tell you that.

"Come and follow me I am sure he would be happy to see you again" she told me with a smile of her face

She looked very beautiful and slim for a woman who only has three children. When she was young her and Zeke had their first two twin boys. And it is only three years ago when they had their last born girl.

The dining room was just as good and it was filled it lots of food on the big table. I don't think I could eat all this food.

"Aaaaahhhh Brandon Gonzalez how wonderful of you to join me and my family to dinner" he said getting up for his chair and then pulled out a hand to greet me.

"It is a pressure" I said Shaking his hand back

"Please have a seat, the kids are just washing their hands they will be down any-" just as he was about to finish what he was about to say. His kids then came walking in to hfs living room.

The twins looked so much a like, they both were tall, with the same skin tone and blue eyes. They looked about thirteen or maybe even fourteen. Then they youngest walked in with her iPad in her hands. She looked nothing like the boys she actually looked more like her mother, who had fair light skin with freckles on her cheek with her brown hair.

"Children please meet a good friend of mine. Brandon these are my wonderful children the twins Liam and William and my baby girl the one and only daughter Piper" he said and brought her closer and gave her a kiss in her cheek and she giggled when he did that.

That was something I really want one day. Is to have a baby girl who i can love the way Zeke loves his daughter.

"Daddy stop, your beard is tickling me" she said laughing

"Okay I will stop, now go sit down please" he asked

She walked to her sit and sat down like the good little girl she was.

"You have a wonderful family Zeke" I complimented him

"Thank you, you should start having kids of your own. We are both getting old" he joked

"That is the Plan"

"Can we please say grace now that everyone is here" Leah said

The whole night it was full of laughs, Piper was making most of them. They explained to me how much they really wanted another child. And when they got a girl they where very happy because that is what they really wanted and prayed for.

"I actually looking for an Architect to help me make my dream house that I have always wanted" I told Zeke

It was just me, him and wife in his man cave talking while sipping fine wine.

"I have a friend mine who is good in building house and stuff. She built beautiful houses trust me. I will send you the company name she walks for" Leah advised me

"Thank you so much, maybe I can stop by the company and talk to her about the house" I smiled

When the day ended I thanked them and then drive back to my hotel.

Ring ring ring

I pulled out my phone and it was my private investigator. I smiled because he must have some information about where Zara might be.

"Hello, mr Gonzalez I have a lead on your wife"

"Speak to Me"

"While I don't have much but what I have gathered is that she is in Atlanta. I she works but I have yet to find out and that is what I have found out so far Mr Gonzalez" he said thru the phone

My heart almost jumped out my chest when he said that. I was so happy cause I could hopefully find her here.

"Thank so much for your help, if you get any more information please call me immediately" I told him and then hung up the phone

I smiled because I was one step closer to finding Zara.
