I wake up to hearing birds chirping as the sun glimmers into my eyes. "Uhh," Someone says beside me. My eyes widen, I turn to oversee Dillon beside me. Those annoying butterflies appear as I stare at his sleeping position. His shirt risen to show his stomach. He wasn't fat nor ripped but perfect in the middle. His face looked carefree rather than the normal droopy smile and pricing eyes. I quickly crawl over him to get out.
I walk into the kitchen smelling the coffee being brewed. "Good morning mads," Beth says in a happy mood. "What's up?"
"Why does something need to be up to make my bestie something to drink," she says handing me the mug with pretty butterflies on it. "What'd you do, kill someone," I say sarcastically.
"Well, we all wanted to go into the city." I set my plate giving her a scowl. "But I planned-" her eyes narrow at me "- sorry, we planned to go to the canyon today." I pout looking over to the place where I wanna go. "I know but we all really want to go see the shops and maybe even et at your favorite restaurant,"
I look at her, her eyes pleading with her hands in praying form. "Fine, I just have to go over my schedule again and maybe even replan," I say pushing my hair from out of my face. "I swear all you ever do is work," she says pressing play on her camera. "Guess what bitches. I got her to say yes!" she says into her camera while walking out the door. I giggle at her action looking as she smacks Jermy on the back of the neck.
"Now to reorganize our schedule,"
I sat back onto my bunk which so happened to be taken up by Dillon still. He lays on his stomach so his back muscles are showing. His skin has few blemishes but just a few decent-sized scars. My fingers lightly travel over them feeling the pinkish rough skin. "Your quite mysterious, aren't you." I pull the few strands from his face and pull the covers over his body. I grab my journal from my ledge and fix the schedule.
I've always had some type of agenda or planner for myself to have a sort of schedule. My mom said it was cute how I'd plan things like it would truly affect me. I like to have control of my schedule and being.
Dillon shuffles a little bit moving his head closer to my lap. His hand rests on the other side of my leg pulling my body closer to him. Those common butterflies that appear more than once a day come to torture me. Erasing the plans I place them for tomorrow "We might have to cancel on the festival if we do that," I state more to myself.
"I rather go into town," Dillon says catching me off guard. "Sheesh, Dillon you scared me," I say swatting his arm. His face looks slightly paler than normal. "You feeling okay?" He slowly rolls over to get out of bed. "I'm fine, just need some water," "You having a headache," I say moving to sit next to him. "Yeah," He gets up moving to the back where Jackson sleeps. I finish off the schedule that keeps me somewhat sane.
"Okay guys we gotta get going," Jermey says making his way to the back. "Damn Mads I thought you would be the first to get ready," I throw my pillow at him while going through my clothes.
"What to wear. What to wear," I push my jeans and leggings away to find cute jean shorts. "You should wear your off-the-shoulder floral top," Sammy says cutting into the back to get her bags. She hands me the top and some cute sandals. "Thanks, Sam," I say going to the small bathroom to change. I put my hair in a double dutch braid leaving some of my baby hairs out. "What a cutie," Bethany says pointing the camera at me. Sammy comes up behind me placing her head on my shoulder. "Make a silly face," I stick my tongue out and cross my eyes. My go-to 'funny face', feels kinda basic but I don't care.
"We are heading into town to go eat and maybe even see some hotties," Beth says talking into her camera. "All the hotties are right here," Jermey says joining the touchy-feelingness. "Let's get this show on the road," Jackson says pushing Dillon out the door of the Rv. My face immediately lights up at the sight of him. Sammy pushes her elbow in my waist, her eyes winding as a smirk dance across her lips. "You like him," My mouth falls open, "I think he's cute but I don't like him," I say convincing myself more or less.
"Guys lets' goooo," He says once again sitting in the front. "Get out of the seat," Sammy says. Sammy is usually the driver where ever we. As far as I can tell Sammy and Jackson both have very similar personalities. Jackson's a leader and dominant and Samantha is the same if not more stubborn. "No sit in the back and stop being a baby," he says revving the engine alive. I groan and take my seat next to Jeremy and Bethany. Dillon sat on the way back by himself.

"Finally," Bethany says putting the strap of her camera around her neck. She immediately starts talking about what we're doing as if everyone in the world loves to hear every little detail. After the long car ride of bickering and hurtful words later we got to the center of the small town. "I'm walking when we go back home," Dillon says rubbing his eyes walking next to me. I smile lightly grabbing his hand. I don't look at him scared my self-consciousness will sike me out. But I feel his stare on the side of my face.
The group walks into the holy grand of stores. "Holy s**t look at that cute dress, I need!" Bethany says almost running into the store. Dillon and I take a seat on a big fountain looking at the stream below us. "Do you think there are alligators in there?" he asks more as a rhetorical question. "You should go down there and find out," I say looking at his gorgeous face. He smirks while squeezing my hand. My face feels instantly hotter than normal. "Guys! We placed a table at Gus the greek," Jeremy explains taking a seat beside us. "Mads get over here and shop!" Beth yells at me. "I better go before she causes a scene," I laugh getting up before smiling at Dillon.
Us girls looked for probably a good hour through stores before our table was ready. I was so ready to eat. "Follow me and I'll sit you at your table," The seater said walking us to our table. The six of us sat down, but just before I could Dillon pushed me out of the way to pull my seat out for me. The gesture made my heart speed up. I took my seat as I started at Sammy that gave me her infamous yeah-right smirk. Our waitress comes by taking our drink orders and asking for appetizers.
"So Maddison, you got our schedule planned out?" Jackosn asked me before taking a sip of his water. "Um yeah, I think we might have to cancel the festival walkthrough though," I said. "What!" Beth says her eyes growing big. Bethany has been wanting to go to this festival for like ever but I'm petty so she can miss out. "Why the festival, we can cut out that stupid culture museum," Bethany says trying to make room. "I wanted to go to that 'stupid museum'," Sammy states pouting in her seat. "See this is why we stick to the schedule I planned," I say getting frustrated. Even though they might think the planers and agendas are over the top they help get through the arguments like these. "Yeah we should've just stuck to Maddison's schedule," Jermey says butting in. "You guys said that you wanted to come here so don't get mad at me," Bethany says.
The table goes silent and awkward silents fills the atmosphere. "Why don't you guys make a compromise," Dillon suggests. "The people who want to go to the 'stupid museum, can go. While the people who want to go to the Festival can go there," he says looking at us. "Sounds good to me," Bethany says giving in to the idea. "At least someone here is adulting," Jermey says slurping his tea into his mouth. We all let out a few laughs before our food arrives.

"Look at that one," Sammy says as another firework shoots up into the sky. After dinner, we all decided to head back. But our waitress told us there was a fireworks show for their 40-year anniversary for being open. So of course we stuck around to watch. I was sitting in between Dillon's legs leaning against his chest. He pulled me against him when a group of boys whistled at the three of us. Sammy flicked them off while Bethany complained about it on her blog. Her fan page was not happy about it.
It was nice to be taken care of by Dillon though. Is attitude changed around me? It's usually upbeat and peaceful but right now it's rough and feels hard to breathe. But not in a bad way. More of a possessive way. His face comes up beside me laying his head on my shoulder.
"I like you a lot," he says. My face contorts and my heart feels heavy. "You barely even know me," I say bluntly. His smile falters slightly. "You say that likes it's a bad thing," Dillon looks at me squeezing my hand. "I'm not gonna lie, but you are cute,"
"Before this relationship goes any further," I say moving closer to his lips. "I need to get you to know you first." I push away from his body as we all head back to the jeep.
