Arkin's POV: I was already parched. All the ladies I danced with touted me as snob — I hadn't said any word to any of them since the Rigodon begun. I'd like to end up with Cassie. I didn't give a damn about the other girls here. I seriously don't, that's why my mouth was shut the whole time I was dancing with the other girls here. Call it rude, but I don't care. Now the song "You and Me" by Lifehouse finally blared in the background. I was nervous and scared that I might not end up with my girl. Soft and dainty hands suddenly anchored in my neck. I even heard her heaved a deep sigh. I had a strong feeling that this wasn’t Cassie. I knew damn well Cassie's hands, what it felt like touching it. Unfortunately, this one wasn't hers. A frisson of disappointment suddenly swept all over me.
