Dimitri waited until Hex was in a deep sleep before he pulled himself out of her arms. It pissed him off to leave her, especially because he had a raging hard on again, but this Keith needed to be dealt with.
He made sure to pull her comforter over her shoulders and thought about risking a kiss. He wasn't quite sure if she was a heavy sleeper or not yet and he didn't want to risk waking her.
She had one of those digital clocks on her side post that had the big red blocky numbers that always screeched out something fierce. It read 3:12 AM. Every one of them deserved to burn.
He quietly tiptoed out of her dark little room before he started getting dressed. Once he had his jeans on he held his phone to his ear as he called Amir.
"Yoooo! Boss man! You took your sweet time, didn't you? I swear if I have to listen to this p***y scream any longer I'll shoot him myself." Amir laughed over the sounds of muffled screaming.
"Don't you f*****g touch him until I get there. I got caught up." He tossed his shirt on just as he opened the door and gently pushed the loud screen door open. If anything would wake her up, it would be that damn door.
"Riiiight. 'Caught up'." Dimitri could almost see the bastard using his fingers as quotations. "Caught up in that little puss-"
"Shut the f**k up, Amir! That's the mother of my child you're talking about. Don't make me gut you like a f*****g fish." He jogged down the street to his car. He had debated about pulling up in her driveway, but thought better of it because he didn't want to risk her seeing it and running. Now he was glad for another reason. The ZR1 Corvette was loud as hell.
"I'm just messing with you! I'm glad to see you serious about a lady, that's all. You get to see the mini you?" There wasn't an ounce of fear in Amir. Not because he didn't believe Dimitri would do it, he was just that tough a son of a b***h. The man would laugh at the devil himself while he pulled his heart out.
"No. But I will in a few hours when her mom brings him back." He said as he climbed into the car and pressed his phone onto the wireless charging pad. The wireless connection was seamless with switching from phone to speakers.
"Well then you don't have much time to come play with us, huh?" Amir mused. The sounds of crying sounded close now. Dimitri knew he was baiting the fucker.
"Nope. See you in ten." He ended the call and floored it.
Amir had sent him the location hours ago and he knew he'd make it in less than ten minutes provided that he didn't run into traffic or rookie cops not on his payroll. He hated dealing with rookie cops who didn't understand the rules yet.
Dimitri made the drive in six minutes. A record even for him. They were at one of the waterfront warehouses. They often used it for the production of snow. Tonight it was empty for this special occasion.
He heard the whimpering before he saw the bright flood light spot lighting the man bound to the chair. Keith's wig had been lost between the picture that had been taken and now. His face had been busted up pretty good which pissed Dimitri off. Hadn't he said not to touch the fucker?
"The f**k you do to his face, Amir?" He snapped.
Amir's hands went up in defense. "That was Sven's doing. I sent the big bastard out of here because he didn't want to wait for you. I haven't touched him. Scouts honor."
"Bullshit! You were no f*****g scout!" Dimitri reached into his back pocket to pull out and light up a cigarette, ignoring the whimpers.
"True, but with a smile like this, I would have sold a f**k ton of cookies." He beamed and threw out his hands.
Dimitri smiled and placed the cigarette between his two fingers as he exhaled. "That's girl scouts you dumb fuck."
Amir shrugged and reached into his jacket to pull out Dimitri's favorite blade. "Close enough."
Dimitri took it and shook his head at his friend. "No where near the same thing. Go pick up a book you dirty sand-"
"Hey, hey, hey! We don't need language like that! Geeze! Don't forget we have a guest!" Amir circled around Keith and ran his hands over his shoulders, massaging them to unnerve him. It worked because he whimpered at the touch.
"Riiiight!" Dimitri hadn’t forgotten but this game they were playing was always fun for him. "The man who thinks he can take my place!"
Keith screamed behind the cloth gag tied behind his head and shook violently. Dimitri was fairly certain the man was trying to say no, but the poor bastard wasn't making much sense with his crying.
Amir pulled the gag out of his mouth when Dimitri nodded his approval. "Please don't kill me! I know who you are! It's why I never touched her! Please! You've got to believe me!"
Dimitri arched his pierced eyebrow and he smiled as he leaned down to meet Keith at eye level. "You know who I am? And just how do you happen to know this information?"
"My uncle deals for you! His name is Ricky! Goes by Lil Ricky! I swear I didn't know she was pregnant with your kid until she showed me your picture! I swear! I swear! I never touched her!" He was back to crying again.
Dimitri frowned because he knew exactly who Lil Ricky was. Amir was already on the phone trying to confirm the relationship because Lil Ricky was one of his best Loony Tunes pushers. That man could sell acid to the Pope. If he really was the fat bastard's nephew then there was no way he could kill him without risk of losing one of his best sellers.
Dimitri pressed the blade against Keith's stomach as Amir spoke in a hushed whisper. The man yelped and tried to launch from the chair, but he couldn't go anywhere. "Please! I'm telling the truth! I'm telling the truth!"
"You say that, yet…" Dimitri grabbed his phone and fished for the picture that originally sealed Keith's fate. He held it up to him. "This was mere hours ago, Keith. Your arms around my girl?"
"She was cold and I d-didn't have m-my jacket! If she got sick it would be b-b-bad for Lucy! Babies are easy to get sick! I swear I didn't do anything more! I swear!"
Dimitri stuck his tongue in his cheek, nodding at the information. "Yeah...see...I don't buy it."
Keith started weeping hysterically. To the point Dimitri couldn't speak over him and it pissed him off so he slapped him. "Shut the f**k up! When I talk, you f*****g listen!" When he was satisfied that Keith managed to quiet to a trembling whimper he continued. "I don't believe you because you first said, 'I never touched her' yet," he wiggled his phone in front of Keith, emphasizing the photo, "Now it's 'not more than that'. I don't like being lied to."
"No! No! Please! I didn't lie! I swear I didn't-" Dimitri slapped his hand over his mouth and slammed his knife down into Keith's leg.
Keith's muffled screams as he jerked under him made him smile. "Shh, shh, shh, shh. It's okay, Keith. This is just a little poke to get my point across. The real fun stuff comes later if you're lying."
Amir turned to look at him then and nodded grimly. It made Dimitri downright foul. So the little bastard really was Lil Ricky's nephew. Well didn't that put a damper on his night? Dimitri twisted the blade out of pure spite, making Keith scream again.
"Looks like you lucked out tonight, buddy." Amir slapped Keith's shoulder, making him cry harder. "Your uncle is coming to get you. Nothing personal friend. Just business."
Dimitri shook his head and placed both hands over the man's arms tied to the chair. He leaned into Keith's space, knowing he'd cower back. "Oh no. It's personal for me. Real personal. And I do my most creative carving when it's personal for me, if you catch my drift."
Amir circled them with a goofy smile on his face. "He really does. Sick bastard."
"You don't want me getting creative do you, Keith?" Dimitri watched the man shake his head groaning in pain. "Good. So here's what you're going to do. As soon as you get home, you're going to text Hex and tell her that you no longer need her to work for you. Move the whole fuckin place if you have to. I don't give a f**k, but after that, you don't talk to her. I don't want you even breathing in her direction. Got it? You see her and you turn and run the other f*****g direction. Because I won't be far behind and if I ever see you around my girl or my kid, I'll get real creative. No matter who you're f*****g related to. Do we have an understanding?"
Keith nodded because it was all he could do. Dimitri smiled as he heard a car roll up outside. How unfortunate. He had hoped to play with Keith a little longer. He reached down and slowly pulled the blade out of Keith's leg, relishing in his agonized screams.
Heavy footsteps behind him told him that Lil Ricky had seen everything. "Thank you for honoring me by sparing my sister's only son, sir. I had no idea he was involving himself with your woman."
Dimitri handed the knife to Amir who began to clean it and turned to face the large man. His cheeks were rosy as if he had makeup, but Dimitri knew it was just because the fat ass got red when he walked. "It's fortunate that he told me you were his uncle. I was going to kill him. I still want to. The only reason he still breathes is because he did help her when I couldn't and because he's related to you. It goes without saying he won't get a second chance."
Lil Ricky bowed his bald glistening head. "Of course sir. You've been most gracious. I'll make sure he doesn't repeat any mistakes."
Dimitri jerked his head toward Keith to allow the big man and his gathering guards to fetch the pissant. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go f**k my woman one more time before I see my kid."
He said it for Keith's benefit more than to let Amir know where he was off to. Though he couldn't drive the real knife in him more like he wanted to, he'd settle for the mental one.
